Fordecades,theFortBraggOfficersSpousesClubhasenjoyedalongstandingrelationshipwith

theFortBraggcommunity.Insupportofthisrelationship,wehavecontinuallyworkedtoupholdour

missionofcharity,friendship,hospitality,andsupport.Ourpurposeistodevelopandfosteraspirited

communityofresponsibilityatFortBragg,toprovidewelfareaswellasopportunitiesforsocial,cultural,

andcreativepursuits,andtosupportworthwhileserviceandcommunityprojects.Asanall-volunteer

spouseorganization,wehavecontributedcountlesshoursinsupportoftheFortBraggcommunityand

havedistributedtensofthousandsofdollarsinaidtosoldiersandmilitaryfamilies.

Inthepastmonthalone,wehaveheldtwoofourmainfundraisers:theYuleMartcraftfair

whichwasopentothegeneralpublicandourTourofHomeswhichwasopentoIDcardholdersand

theirguests.Proceedsfromtheseeventsgotoourwelfareandscholarshipfundsthatbenefitmilitary

familiesandtheFortBraggcommunity.Theseeventshavekeptourmembershipandboardextremely

busy.

Inresponsetorecentinterestinthemembershiprequirementsofourorganization,wewillreviewtheissueatournextboardmeeting.Thiswillbeourfirstopportunityforourboardtodiscuss

theissuesinceithasbeenbroughttoourattention.Weintendtoreviewtherequestinatimely

manner.Asanall-volunteerboardduringthisbusyholidayseason,werequestyourpatienceinallowing

ustoproperlyaddressandreviewthismembershipissuewhilefulfillingourobligationstoourcurrent

membershipaswellastoourfamilies.
