travel and meetings industry. China Star, which owns 5 Site members and 2 MPI members, is the corporate member of

ICCA and one of the founders of World PCO Alliance. China Star has been an untiring learner that has made a perfect

use of the international knowledge in its performance in China.

Management Introduction

Liu Ping, CEO and president of China Star Ltd., has more than 20 years’ experience in the incentive travel and meetings industry. She is, representing China, on the board of Site (Society of Incentive & Travel Executives ) and also a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and one of the founders of World PCO Alliance. Her company is a member of ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) and is widely recognized in the international meetings industry. As a pioneer and an opinion leader, Liu Ping enjoys high reputation in the meetings industry home and abroad. She is also a writer and has published both the English and Chinese versions of her first book My Chinese Dream-From Red Guard to CEO.

2008 Beijing Olympic Games Events

During 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, China Star Ltd. served Peter Ueberroth, President of the American Olympic Committee, and his team, Brazilian Olympic officials , athletes and audiences from America and the world, sum to more than 4500. We were awarded “Team of Excellence for Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games” and “Excellent Team of Volunteers for Beijing Olympic Games” by Beijing municipal government.

Nixon Foundation Delegation in China Events

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), a delegation of 45 members organized by Richard Nixon Foundation, led by Christopher Nixon Cox, grandson of President Nixon, paid a visit to China from May 2nd to 9th in 2013 retracing former U.S. President Nixon’s ice-breaking visit to China and the week that changed the world, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Nixon’s birth and 41st anniversary of his first visit to China.

Conference is currently being planned. The

goal of the biennial conference is to

continue President George H.W. Bush’s

vision and legacy of establishing better

understanding, closer ties, and important

collaborations between China and the

United States in the 21st Century. The

conference will focus on the roles of China

and the United States in preventing,

preparing for, and responding to emerging

infectious diseases and pandemics in the

era of global connectivity.
