English as a Second Language(ESL)
GCC’s Adult Education Program is federally funded. That means the courses you take to prepare to earn your Adult High School diploma or high school equivalency are FREE, as well as empowering!

It’s never too late to graduate!
Eligibility• 16 years of age or older• Not enrolled or required to be enrolled in
secondary school under Guam law• Without a high school diploma or
recognized equivalent • Needing mastery of basic educational skills
to function effectively in society • Needing support in speaking, reading, or
writing the English language to earn a high school diploma, prepare for college-level classes, or seek employment
• Complete health clearance requirements
Programs
English as a Second Language (ESL)Courses in speaking, reading, and writ-ing English for those working towards a high school diploma or equivalency, those planning to take postsecondary classes, and those seeking employment.
Adult Basic Education (ABE)Courses for adult learners needing to develop literacy and mathematics skills for citizenship, employment, and in preparation to take a high school equivalency exam.
Adult High School (AHS)General and career and technical education courses for adult learners to earn credits towards an Adult High School Diploma.
• Guam ID or passport and Social Security card
• Letter of withdrawal from last school attended (if 16-17 years old)
• Accompanied by parent or legal guardian (if 16-17)
