As in previous years, God has blessed TC with over 250 volunteers, close to 1000 attendees, and over 200 teens who made commitments for God or to seek prayer and coaching for important life issues that they are going through. One of the important factors in the success of the TC ministry over the years has been a strategic desire to collaborate with the local Chinese churches in how to best position what TC is doing as a ministry in support of the needs of the local church. Much credit to this has to go to our TC Pastoral Advisory Group that provides guidance, feedback, and support to TC. Additionally, there are numerous other pastors and Church leaders who have been instru- mental in their support of TC and assisting us in various ways. Even though they do not have the facilities to host TC, we are indebted to our partner Churches who have opened their doors to allow the ministry teams to practice and train in their facilities. TC is not better or above the local Church, rather we exist and are equipped to bless the local Church with the result of bringing glory to God’s Kingdom. Without this symbiotic relationship between the local Chinese Churches and TC, we would not be able to have the life changing ministries that TC has become. • This year, English TC 14s theme was With Us and focused upon Christs Incarnation into the world and the beginning of his salvation ministry. We were blessed to have Pastors George Mah and An Le to be our Junior and Senior speakers respectively.

Additionally, there are numerous other pastors and Church leaders who have been instru-mental in their support of TC and assisting us in various ways. Even though they do not have the facilities to host TC, we are indebted to our partner Churches who have opened their doors to allow the ministry teams to practice and train in their facilities. TC is not better or above the local Church, rather we exist and are equipped to bless the local Church with the result of bringing glory to Gods Kingdom. Without this symbiotic relationship between the local Chinese Churches and TC, we would not be able to have the life changing ministries that TC has become.

Looking forward to TC 15, our theme will be It Is Finished looking at the at the Incarnation and we have been blessed to be able to plan for TC 15 while running TC 14. We invite you to come volunteer or attend TC 15. See you in March.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:12) ice-breaking activities that were led by two of our young students. We began with the question of What is Love?. Three young volunteers shared what their visions were in their Love Moment projects from last year. It was exciting to see how some small thoughts led to actions! One of the highlights was an inspiring testimony from Desmond Choi, a university student who is also a successful entrepreneur. During his sharing, not only his success stood out. What was more important was what he values in life and how he overcame the low times and struggles with Gods guidance. His motivation and determination was enlighten-ing for us all.

We began the second day by sharing our dreams. Each person is unique, while some wanted to travel, others were eager to use their talents. One student like-minded people who dreams of opening their own patisserie. How can participants work towards achieving these dreams? Day 2 was an opportunity to explore, learn about event planning and program skills, and be proactive about realizing their desires in life.

Love Action ConcertA very special part of this years TC was the Love Action Concert on the evening of the second day. This was originally a Love Movement project where student leaders can use the opportunity to promote their cause. All participants had a chance to put their newly learned knowledge and skills into practice, by an opportunity to present in his/her own words of What Love is and What Love is to them.

It was a blessing to be part of TC14 and meeting all the participants and volun-teers. A big thank you to those who took part and attended the Love Action Concert! Each one of you has had a part to play in building up these young people. May God continue to guide these students and help them be the light that shines for others.

This was our second year of Mandarin TC, and to better meet the needs of the students, we hosted a series of career workshop and a tour to University of Toronto. Because it was a trial event, we did not do a lot of promotion. Amaz-ingly, words got out, and over 35 students from grade 7 to 12 came! Almost all of them are not Christians, and I was blown away by how God had opened this door for us to evangelise. During the UofT tour (hosted by current MCCF & TCCF students), it was great to be able to talk to some of the students on a more personal level, and listen to their struggles with family, ESL, application to univer-sity, etc.

Mandarin High School Ministry is still relatively new to us, and we are continously looking for ways to connect with the students. We praise God for showing us the spiritual needs of these students, and pray that we will be better equipped to serve them.

  • We are going back to P.E.I. this summer! Just like last year, we will be taking a team of students to Prince Edward Island, partnering with the local church there, to serve high-school students in PEI at their annual Youth Gospel Camp. We will get to work with local, new immigrant and refugee youths for the youth camp, as well as start developing relationships with the International students attending the University of P.E.I. Our hope and prayers for the team is that they will go beyond their comfort zones and be challenged to broaden their perspective of Gods Mission globally and nationally. We hope this will spark their personally journey of what it means to live out their Christian calling.

This year at Campus Challenge 2014 (May 16-19), we will study the Book of Acts through will be learning a lot and praying a lot together. For the way forward for Asian and Chinese Christian Fellowship movement is to pray forward.

Campus Challenge is AFCs annual campus ministry conference (English) for university and college students. For details, please go to www.afccanada.org/cc

The theme of this year's camp is iGospel. Spreading the gospel is an important part of a Christian's spiritual life; however, the presence of the Gospel is shrinking in our generation. If we do not present the gospel in full, how will its greatness be made known? Therefore, this year's theme is to focus on the gospel through various topics such as: gospel and the modern generation, individuals and the gospel, gospel and the Cross, gospel and campus, etc. Students would be encour-Through various sharing and guest speakers, students' passion to do God's will on campus may be re-ignited. May God raise more willing co-workers to serve in the student ministry.

  • When I say that captaining was a great experience for me, I say that truly from the bottom of my heart. God took this opportunity to teach me to follow Jesus example of a humble servants heart completely devoted to that it would be a breeze. I was so wrong. It was a huge challenge and big spoke to me through His Word, through mentor coaches and other captains and the supportive community of TC. God has been so present during the captains journey together and Im so happy to say that Hes taught me how hard it is to truly follow Him but also how rewarding it is, both in this life and the next.

After Cantonese Teens Conference in 2013, Eppie gathered me and 3 other members, and we formed the AFC Love Movement team. We each shared about our thoughts on love, and compared what the world and the Bible says on love.

Most people learn about love through the mass media which is relations between both sexes, and mostly about the physical side of things. Many young people believe that the ultimate goal of love is sex. Growing up as a Christian, and receiving Gods love from a young age, I cannot agree with this concept of love.

To me, love is a form of seasoning. It is something irreplaceable that warms the heart when used in action. A simple greeting, will become more savory when love is added. My goal in joining Love Movement is to learn how to infect others so that other people will pay it forward. Love Movement is still in its beginning stages in Toronto, and I hope that you will support us. Join us, and lets learn how to love.

It truly has been a blessing to be part of a team that uses God-given gifts in the arts to lead others to Christ. Serving together, overcoming spiritual warfare with our prayers for unity, and carrying one anothers burdens have shown me what its like to be part of a team thats rooted in Gods love. The four days of TC were much of an emotional rollercoaster ride. In the midst of it all however, Gods power to revitalize, recharge, and restore blur of those four days. Through my TC experience, I learned that being vulnerable is an act of humility. By opening up myself to others, I was able to experience the love of God from the people around me, and this love can now be reciprocated in my life.

Not everyone knows how to love. The Bible says, Love your neighbor as yourself. But if you do not know how to love yourself, how do you go about loving others? We need to take care of ourselves, not give up so easily, and live life to the fullest. A series of leadership workshops and a mini concert each participant was able to take part in the mini concert, sharing their thoughts on love, and encouraging audiences to step out of their comfort in their shoes more, and are willing to take small steps of actions.

love. But when they are in the presence of two, or three people, the oppor-place. Two strangers can become friends because of love. Love is unreserved, as reserved love will not last. May I encourage you to put love into action right now, to inspire and love one another!
