PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The new plant refinery at the Mostorod Petroleum Complex is being constructed in an industrial
area situated 10km to the north of Cairo, on land that was provided by the Cairo Oil Refining Co
(CORC). The plant will include a two-million-tonnes-a-year unit for the production of high-quality
diesel. The other complex units will include an 80,000bpd vacuum distillation unit (VDU), along with
a 40,000bpd hydrocracker that can transform lower-quality products into the middle distillates
which are in high demand. The crude distillation units are being constructed by ENPPI (Engineering
for the Petroleum and Process Industries).
Annual capacity at the refinery will be five million tonnes or (100,000bpd) of refined products (2.5
million tonnes of diesel oil when the complex is complete). We have Pipes of different materials such
as high temp. as SA 335 P11, P22, P91,15Mo3, Ni based alloys such as Inconel.

Rawash road which is few hundred meters northern from the 26th of July Mehawar. The site is part of the
fenced area of the high voltage research center which is under the authority of the Ministry of Electricity.
The proposed power plant will generate 600 MW using a natural gas supply.

revamped to a capacity of 2250 MTPD by using the MP-add on technology of stamicarbon.

of 40 m in diameter, 3 boilers of 150 Mw and primary and secondary reformers and many reactors and
piping for processing, erection of steel structures for buildings, air intake systems and ducts, stacks, Pipes
of different materials such as low temp. as SA333 Gr.6 and high temp. as SA 335 P11, P22, P91, 15Mo3,
Ni based alloys such as Inconel, austenitic stainless steels as 304 L, 316L, 321, 347, duplex and super
duplex stainless steels and safurex.
