Since this is writing, very easy to look at the previous year (Reading) to determine a longitudinal trend Are we looking at a weak cohort of students? Are we looking at an instructional issue?

If school has a high proportion of “red ink”, supports are available through CIA.

Even though the NESD is not participating with AFL this upcoming year we should not disregard the data.
