President Janez Medja - 3. dan Shotokan (JKS) 2. dan Makotokai (IMKI - fullcontact karate) - President of Slovenia WKU (World Karate and Kickboxing Union) - President APFU (Amateur and Pro Fight Union) - KZS judge, Judge KBZS Dear kickboxing masters, coaches, athletes and students, for many years we have been struggling together for the good of our students and our other home - clubs. We usually participate at the competitions, so we can share our knowledge, opinions and views to our sport. My job as a coach is already counting up to 22 years. The first international match under my leadership was 2000 in Tolmin. The competition took place under the surveillance of the newly discontinued APFU Union (EU Amateur and professional sports and martial arts) the first time, is also considered a national championship WKU (Kickboxing and World Karate
Union) which means that certain categories of winners can participate at the World Cup which will be organized in Greece in October 2013. As chairman of the organizing committee, I wish you a lot of success at KATANA CUP 2013 in Bohinj. Slavko Zorko - Member - 4. dan VIP lounge and coordination

Miha Senčer - Sibit d.o.o., development of the programme for managment of sport competitions Applications and registration References: management of already in 10 competitions of differnet ranks; among them also Ljubljana open with more than 600 participants from all over the world. SCHEDULE, 26.5.2013 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.: registration at 9:30 a.m.: assembly of Judges at 9:50 a.m.: beginning of the competition on tatami at 11:00 a.m.: beginning of the competition in the ring Prize awarding will be held during the competition. FOR COACHES Coaches receive a memorial prize and awarm welcome in VIP lounge. COMPETITORS - Awards The first three competitors will receive medals and diplomas. All in the youngest category receive memorial medals. The most successful CLUB will receive CATANA ! The most successful competitor will be awarded with the small catana (wakizashi) VISITORS and PARENTS We will do our best to carry out the competition regularly and to complete it in time. Prize rewards will be given during the competition. In case of any flaws or unintentional irregularities, please contact your coach, who can file an appeal to the competition leaders. For the refreshments you can visit the bar Alo-Alo by the gym hall and in the nearby restaurant Danica. For all pizza lovers, it is possible to pre-order them at the registration. They will be delivered to the gym hall. During the competition you will have the opportunity to purchase the sport equipment PRIDE SHOP.eu and nutritional supplements PROTEINI. PRIZES, MEDALS AND CUPS: The first, second and third-ranked contestants receive medals or cups.. BEST THREE CLUBS RECEIVE CUPS! (if the club is not present at the time of the prize-giving ceremony, the prize will not be presented to the club).
REGISTRATION: Send complete registration form (TATAMI) not later than up to Thursday, 23.05.2013 For RING REGISTRATION IS, 16.05.2013, per mail to: [email protected] Additional registrations are possible also on the competation day for the paymet of 20 Eur per competitor EXTRA. Additional registrations are closed 1 hour before the start of the competition.
COMPETITION FEE: 1 category 15 EUR, next categories 10EUR. Each club can register so many competitors as they wish and with the registration of more then 10 competitors the club will be given 10 % discount. OTHER REGULATIONS: Access to the ring is permitted for coaches only. Competitors compete at their own responsibility; Competion organizer is not responsible for any injuries of competitors, and no reimbursement can be claimed from the organizer.. In case of any injury of the competitors first aid will be offered. Competitors can compete only in one category. In case of incorrect quotation of competitors weight or age in free sparing and katas/form the competitor will be disqualified. The use of teeth protectors, gloves and protection for the instep compulsory for all competitors. Organizer reserves the right to modify, merge or terminate individual (single) category on the day of the competition. Welcome to Bohinj! Organizing committe.
