The Alley of the Nobel Prize Winners of Belgorod State University

Nobel Prize is the brainchild of Alfred Nobel, a Swedish chemist who was best known

in his lifetime for the invention of dynamite

Nobel Prize includes a medal, international recognition, and a sum of money

for ongoing work in the winner's field

Russian Nobel Prize winners in Literature:Ivan Bunin, Boris Pasternak, Mikhail Sholokhov,

Alexander Solgenitsin and Josef Brodskiy.

We can see bronze monuments to famous Russian authors unveiled

on the Alley of the Nobel Prize Winners of Belgorod State University.

Ivan Bunin is a Russian writer, poet and the Nobel prize winner in Literature in 1933

Boris Pasternak is a Russian poet and the Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 1958

Mikhail Sholokhov is a Soviet writer and the Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 1965

Alexander Solgenitsyn is a Russian writer and the Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 1970
