The legendary stallion Padron (Holland) passed away at the age of 30 at his home Jabar Arabians in the USA in early July from heart failure. Imported to the US as a yearling, Padron went on to showring fame with a young David Boggs to become Canadian and US National Champion Stallion.

Often called the Russian stallion as he was by the Russian bred Patron (Aswan/Podruga), his dam was the English mare Odessa (Bright Wings/Serinda ) , a high percentage Crabbet lineage, and Padron was in fact a blend of Egyptian, Polish, French and English.

Siring almost 900 registered purebred Arabians, he has left a legacy that is spread throughout the world. He is best known through his son Padron's Psyche who has sons and daughters in Australia both through frozen semen and importation.
