The Maintenance & Engineering Organization
There are 3 basic concepts for mid-sized airline underlying the structure; 1. Concept of Span of control (หล้กข้นาดข้องการควบีค)ม ) 2. Grouping of similar functions (พ#จารณาตามหนาท ) 3. Separation of production and oversight functions; from the oversight functions of inspection, control and , monitoring (Quality assurance, Quality control, Reliability and safety)

Quality control› Conducting routine inspections of maintenance and
repair work› Certifying maintenance and inspection personnel, and
management of the required inspection items (RIIs) program
› Identification of RIIs› Certification of specific personnel authorized to inspect
and accept the work› Calibration of maintenance tools and test equipment › Performs or oversees the nondestructive testing and
inspection (NDT/NDI) procedures.

Reliability Conducting the organization's reliability program Ensuring that any problem areas are promptly addressed Data collection and analysis, identification of possible
problem areas Publication of the monthly reliability report.
Safety Developing, implementing, and administering the safety
and health related activities within the M&E organization Handling all reports and claims regarding M&E safety
issues
04/08/23 37SAMRIT R.
Contract Maintenance
Contractors may perform maintenance under two different sanctioned methods: an individual aircraft maintenance technician’s (AMT) certificate (license) or under an air agency certificate known as an approved maintenance organization (AMO) or aeronautical repair station.
While there are many capable individual AMTs working on corporate aircraft, it is difficult to beat the advantages of a repair station. A properly certificated repair station has the advantage of written minimum personnel qualifications, supervisory methods, quality control programs, and a higher level of surveillance from the national regulatory greater for an AMO.
04/08/2339 SAMRIT R.
Maintenance Agreement
Airlines shall ensure a maintenance agreement has been executed with each maintenance organization that performs maintenance functions for the airlines; such maintenance agreement shall;
- specify all maintenance requirements and define all tasks to be performed;
- comply with the procedures governing maintenance arrangements, as specified in the GMM/MCM/TPPM.
