Character design

Cartoon • Cartooning is about communicating ideas and

stories using picture instead of words, and it’s the cartoonist’s job to keep the audience interested by creating compelling and memorable characters.

Two kind of character designers

• Blue sky designers จะรำงในกระดำษหลำยตวแลวเลอกตวทดทสด

• Character polishers จะ ขยำย ทำทำง อำรมณของตวกำรตนทถกเลอกท ำในทำทำง สหนำตำสง ทเรยกวำ Model sheet ซงแสดงอำรมณของกำรตนในแตละมม

• Iconic : extremely simple, almost graphic. Very stylized but not very expressive. Usually the eyes are orbs, without pupils of any kind.
