Develop a global strategy that integrates the international business objectives into the overall company strategy. Integrate the leadership team including the owner into the planning process, i.e. this cannot be delegated. Educate the leadership team in the business culture of the targeted international markets. Identify potential partners in the local markets.

Travel to the target international market and experience the culture. Meet with potential partners. Study market assumptions locally. Practice local business networking and identify potential business and cultural barrier. Reexamine the globalization strategy & plan based on findings.
