About 5000 high school students across Türkiye answered a survey about how teenagers think and feel about their traditions and culture.%24 of the teenagers thinks that they have to learn about their traditions and culture because traditions and culture are important not to be assimilated. Only one in ten teenagers can perform folk dances. They prefer doing modern dances. %7 of the teenagers wants to study culture, history or anthropology in universities. The number of teenagers
who can cook a traditional meal is just one percent. Most teenagers say they tasted once a traditional meal and mostly their grandmothers cooked it.
