Goldsmith Maria Wulff graduated with distinction in 2004 and since 2011 has run her business in Odense. Craftmanship and design

are essential for Maria.

Her creative process, from idea to product development, is inspired by the wearer and

her stylish sense of form. Maria Wulff ’s unique style is characterised by its exclusive density

and organic volume and can best be described as classic with a twist.

D E S I G NPassion is key to Maria Wulff ’s design.

Passion for form and aesthetics. Her unique designs are clearly marked by love for the properties and

uniqueness of the precious stones and metals with which she works.

Maria’s elegant jewelry is inspired by opposites – feminine meets raw – classic meets modern and

creates a new story. An exclusive story that lasts generations.

The ring was originally made for a stylish 90 year old woman looking for a modern version of the Solitaire ring. The woman’s beautiful

hands bore the mark of time’s wear. So Maria created a ring that could slip sideways over her joints. The ring has an organic and sculptural

form that creates associations to a drop or tulip bulb.

Its unique design creates a balance as the weight of the ring’s base retains a tight grip on the precious stone, which can be seen from all sides and prevents the ring from tipping. The Tulip Ring is created in a classic tradition, but with a modern twist and is both elegant and

comfortable to wear.

Behind each of Maria Wulff ’s pieces lies a little story, as is the case with her signature ring:

D E S I G NMaria Wulff ’s search for authenticity, beauty and origin, she finds in

the peace, inspiration, science and natural changes in women that reflect life. The jewelry is often shaped by a narrative, rooted in fantasy.

Round the finger nestles the base of the solid globe and creates an expression balanced beautifully between density and elegance.

‘Fungi’ is drawn from many different places, from the healing Japanese Fungi-mushroom, a mushroom that like an idea, can evolve over

night where before nothing grew, or from the Nordic mushroom ‘Fløjlsfod’

(Flammulina velutipes) with its smooth velvety surface.

The design is made up of two separate rings that nestle around the finger and each other.

The rings are made on the same beautiful foundation as the ‘Solitaire ring’ and its organic

form makes the jewelry comfortable to wear despite its considerable size and density.

T H E M U L T I C H A I NIn keeping with Maria Wulff ’s other jewelry, classic meets edgy in the multichain’s design. Its possibilities are endless. Classic white pearls can be joined, as desired,

with chunky stone chains or simple oxidized silver chains. Necklaces and bracelets can be freely combined with a beautiful and simple clasp and the wearer can create

their own individual and evolving statement.

D I V I N EThese pieces show the full range of Maria’s jewelry styles. The design is a lot more complex and edgy, but don’t be fooled. The pieces are inspired by the

Fibonacci numbers and thus deeply rooted in nature’s divine mathematics. Geometric figures are played with in combination with secret numerical codes,

after which the precious stones are set. Jewelry with its own logical mystery.

C U PIs the cup half full or half empty?

The Danes are amongst the world’s happiest people. The ring’s organic form reflects harmony and humour, the basis

of the Scandinavian ‘feel good’ vibe. The cup is, of course, filled with the earth’s beautiful gemstones and the sea’s pearl, reflecting

an optimistic belief in happiness.

A mirage is created around the jewelry’s future wearer. The jewelry is made with thoughts that reflect women’s life, beliefs and values.Maria Wulff ’s design, in this way, pushes the boundaries of common fashion trends, by reaching beyond current popular ideals of beauty, as the

jewelry is often created in a reflection of the adult woman’s world, with all that it holds of power, life-experience, strength and authenticity.
