• Der Kurs IT Essentials ist geeignet für die Sekundarstufe II, Berufliche Schulen und Fachschulen. Der Focus liegt auf der technischen Informatik

• IT Essentials passt in das Lernfeld 4 und teilweise LF7 der IT-Ausbildungsberufe

• Lernsituationen zu den Inhalten wurden in Dillingen erstellt

• Die Kurse des Cisco-Kernbereichs (IT Essentials gehört dazu) erfordern zunächst die Qualifizierung der Lehrer/innen an einem Instructor Training Center

• Start mit allen non-core Lernmaterialien ist nun möglich!

• Für IT Essentials: Qualifizierung von zwei Instruktoren/innen an einem Instructor Training Center (IT Essentials ca. 5 Tage + zus. Selbstlernen auf der online-Plattform) -> z.B. Staatliche Technikakademie Weilburg, Oskar-von-Miller-Schule Kassel

• Teilnahme für Lehrer aus Hessen kostenlos. Kultusministerium stellt die Ressourcen durch die Hessische Landesstiftung für Technologieförderung zur Verfügung
