There are numerous companies and you can stop a taxi anywhere by waving your hand. But be careful because there are lots of fake taxis willing to cheat foreigners about the price.

Every taxi should have a list with its rates (price is per km) on the window from the passenger side. The standard fare is 0,79 lv./km – 0,90 lv./km.

At the airport there is a taxi parking at the exit of the airport building but we strongly recom-mend you go the counter desk in the airport hall and ask for a taxi there.

Sofia airpost has two terminals - Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and there is a BUS between them at every 30 minutes between 07:00 hrs. and 19:00 hrs
