1. Designed and installed a Local Area Network Infrastructure for Beta Internet Cafe. This also
involved installation of wireless hotspots for the Internet Café. The project also included
providing a business internet connection together with the procurement of Computers
and other network equipment.
2. Local Area Network for Provision of IT support, including the maintenance of all IT infrastructure which include a Sun Server, a networks server working through a VPN to link to the DHL international system, the global tracking software, and the mail systems.
3. Worked with the tem that rolled out the solution to enable Uganda Red Cross Society
regional centers work directly on the main server ERP database at the head office. The
remote users are now able login using any internet accessibility.
4. Involved in and spearheaded the design and Installation of a Local Area Network for SOS Children’s village at Kakiri.
5. Worked with the team that prepared a proposal to roll implement the solution to
enable National Drug Authority regional centers work directly on the main server ERP
database at the head office. The remote users would be able to login and perform their
duties print reports without having to travel to the head office in Kampala.
6. I worked on a project entitled Room Allocation System: A Case of Makerere University halls
of residence. It involved developing a system that will match the available room’s features
and amenities to an applicant’s profile.
7. Fixed the crashed computers of Kasozi Design Associates and built new systems for each
computer.
