cing…A New Food Program @ D-B !

 

Starting on March 2, 2015….There will be 4 coolers located in the front of the cafeteria. Please put any unopened food/drink in the coolers.  This can be used for students who may need extra for lunch.  At the end of the week , we will see how much we have and make a donation to an organization that can use the food and drink.

All FBLA State paperwork and initial payment are due to Mrs. Arbaugh

by Thursday, March 5th at 3:00! You will not be registered to compete if you do

not meet the deadline!!

There will be an informational meeting for parents/students on Thursday, March 3 @ 5:30pm, in the Little Theatre for any student interested in trying

out for the Spirit Shaker dance team.

Try-out practices will be conducted in the dome from 5:30-7:30 on March 16, 17, and 18. Tryouts will be

during the same time on Thursday, 3/19.

The D-B Band has 1 more week of their spring fundraiser left.

We are offering a variety of candy, coffee and cookie dough. With some Easter

candy, pizza and pretzels also available. Please help support a

member of our band. This is including color guard, winter guard and the spirit shakers.

Come by or contact the D-B Counseling office for an appointment.

Seniors and ParentsNeed help with the FAFSA, ACT registration, or final college applications?

Seniors and parents can sign upfor an individual appointment for this

service availableat D-B on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

S.H.O.U.T. (Students Helping Others Understand Tomorrow) applications are

available in the Counseling Office. Applications must be submitted to the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce by

March 20th.

All three levels of Winter Guard  (Varsity, JV and Prep) will be competing at Sullivan South on Saturday, March 7, from 4:30 - 8:00pm.   Admission is general $8.00.    This will be the only local competition D-B is attending this season.   Please go cheer for these teams and show them your support!

Program

Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship Award: $1,000 Eligibility: Current or former athlete at the high school or college level and must be a current college student or high school senior entering college.
