Footwork

1. Split Step (at the moment opponent is making contact with the ball)

2. Move toward the ball in rhythm.3. Get ready to hit the ball.

Forehand

1. 준비를 한다.2. 공을 따라간다.3. 공을 친다.4. 다음준비를 한다*

Forehand -준비

1. Hip out and down2. racket up3. Look at the ball*4. Lower your center of mass

Forehand -준비

Think...“Is ball coming to my LEFT or Right?”“Will ball bounce up high or low, short?”“Where should I be?”

Forehand

1. Split Step at the moment opponent is making contact with the ball.2. Move toward the ball in rhythm.3. Stabilize your body to hit the ball.

Forehand

1. Move racket back2. Swing the racket3. Put power from abs and rotation, control from arms and wrist.4. FOLLOW THROUGH* (upward, PARABOLIC)5. watch where it lands.

Backhand

0. Run to the ball.1. Anchor your back foot firmly onto ground. and lower your center of mass.2. Bring the racket back*3. Swing like a kangaroo punching4. Put some spin using Wrist snap at the end

Serves

1. Toss consistently high. (Practice 10,000 throws)2. Bring racket Up3. THROW EVERYTHING YOU GOT INTO THE BALL.(kinda like when you throw baseball)4. Follow through

Drill A. In & Out Forehand

Tips:1. Pivot your body2. Hit longer shots than usual, higher spin (:=higher projectile := better landing)3. Use your body like a spring (:= push down more := use Normal Force)

Drill B. Down the Line

Tip: Use your wrist to make angle adjustmentBring racket back more… push more

Drill C. Down the road

Tips:Use your wrist to make angle adjustmentPush more toward the end (Follow Through)Put more pushing Force, rather than spin*

*when ball is high… when ball is low, put spin...

Drill D. Overhead / Defense

Tips:Use left hand as pointer*Don’t fear the mistake. Just hit like a serveRhythmic counting (one, two, three) in mind

!!! Get the ball in like a pingpong !!!

Drill E. Volleys

Tips:Keep the head UPDon’t swing (short BooM!)STARE at the ball (don’t miss any moment)

Drill F. Approach / Finish

When Ball comes Short, Finish it!

One, Two, Three and Longer Placement

or drop shot…0) racket in front of your body1) know your velocity of Center of Mass2) Use your Momentum (G=mv)3) That means just touch it with racket pointing toward the direction of your aim.4) Never let your racket be moved.
