Mission1. To provide a professional education curriculum that equips graduates to contribute to Hong

Kong, the Greater China, and the whole world in biomedical engineering and related sectors;2. To develop internationally competitive and leading-edge research and educate students in

targeted areas of biomedical engineering;3. To promote the collaboration with other AUs in CENG and the University to develop cross-

disciplinary academic programmes and multidisciplinary research projects;4. To serve as an international collaboration platform to encourage the collaboration among the

leading institutes in the whole world and to enhance our global research reputation; and5. To facilitate the translation of research in biomedical engineering to practices of related

industries.
