O Alláh bless Muhammad and the family of

Muhammad.

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãÉCáÇÖãåßB áÄáÇå¾áF ØãÊCáÇÖãIãQ å´ãäÃáQ

cause my faith to reach the most perfect faith,

ãÌ×ã»á×åÂB áÄá£å¶áF ØãË×ã»áÖ åÄá¯å_B áÑ

make my certainty the most excellent

certainty,

ãVCáä×ãäËÂB ãÌátåcáF ÔáÂãH ØãXáä×ãËãQ

and take my intention to the best of intentions,

and my works to the best of works!

O Alláh complete my intention through Your

gentleness,

rectify my certainty through what is with

You,

and set right what is corrupt in me through

Your power!

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

spare me the concerns which distract me,

âÐåËá® Bæká² ØãËâÂáGåtáW CáÇãQ ØãËåÃãÇå¯áXåsB áÑ

employ me in that about which You will ask me

tomorrow,

âÐá ØãËáXå»áÃág CáÇ×㶠ØãÆCáäÖáF

å±ãoå·áXåsB áÑ

and let me pass my days in that for which You have

created me!

ãáÙ áÑ áÀãºåpãn Ø㶠áäØáÃá® å°ãsåÑáF áÑ

ØãËãËå²áF áÑ

oá§áRÂCãQ ØãäËãXå·áW Free me from need, expand Your provision toward me,

and tempt me not with ingratitude!

ãoåRã¿åÂCãQ ØãäËá×ãÃáXåRáW áÙ áÑ ØãÊáäqã®áF áÑ

Exalt me and afflict me not with pride!

ØãWájCáRã® åkãtå·âW áÙ áÑ áÀáÂ

ãSå`â¯åÂCãQMake me worship You and corrupt not my worship with

self-admiration!

áÙ áÑ áoå×áhåÂB áÕãkáÖ ÔáÃá®

ãrCáäËÃã ãoå_áF áÑ

ãäÌáÇåÂCãQ âÐå»ádåÇáW

Let good flow out from my hands upon the people and efface it not by my making them feel obliged!

Give me the highest moral traits,

ãoåhá·åÂB áÌãÆ ØãËåÇã|å®B áÑ

and preserve me from vainglory!

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

áäÙãH æUá_ánáj ãrCáäËÂB Ø㶠ØãËå¯á¶åoáW áÙ áÑ

CáÏáÃå\ãÆ Øãtå·áÊ ákåËã® ØãËáXå§á§ác

raise me not a single degree before the people without lowering me its

like in myself,

æáYå[ákåcáF áäÙãH DæoãÎC᪠Bæäqã® ØãÂ

åZãkådâW áÙ áÑCáÎãnáká»ãQ Øãtå·áÊ ákåËã®

UáËã¦CáQ æUáäÂãl Øã and bring about no outward exaltation for me without an

inward abasement in myself to the same measure!

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁDáÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and the Household of

Muhammad,

ãÐãQ âÁãkåRáXåsáF áÙ èeãÂCá{ ÓækâÏãQ

ØãËå¯ãäXáÆ áÑ

give me to enjoy a sound guidance which I seek

not to replace,

CáÏåËá® â´ÖãpáF áÙ èä¼ác ãUá»ÖãoᦠáÑ

a path of truth from which I swerve not,

CáÏ×㶠âäÀâwáF áÙ èkåwân ãUáä×ãÊ áÑ

and an intention of right conduct in which I have

no doubts!

Let me live as long as my life is a free gift in obeying You,

áÉCá¾ BálãIá¶

Àå×áÂãH ØãËå£ãRåºCᶠbut if my life should become a pasture for Satan, seize me to

Yourself

áäØáÂãH áÀâXå»áÆ á¼ãRåtáÖ åÉáF

áÄåRáº

before Your hatred overtakes me

áäØáÃá® áÀâRá£á² áÈã¿ådáXåtáÖ åÑáF

or Your wrath against me becomes firm!

áäÙãH ØãäËãÆ âPCá¯âW æUáÃå|ág å ákáW áÙ

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

CáÏáXådáÃå{áFO Alláh deposit in me no quality

for which I will be faulted, unless You set it right,

CáÏáXåËáätác áäÙãH EáÏãQ âSáäÊáJâF æUáRãMEá® áÙÑ

no flaw for which I will be blamed, unless You make

it beautiful,

CáÏáXåÇáÇåWF áäÙãH æUá|ãºCáÊ áäØã¶

æUáÆÑâoå¾âF áÙ áÑ

no deficient noble trait, unless You complete it!

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁDáÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

O Alláh bless Muhammad and the Household of

Muhammad,

áUáäRádáÇåÂB ãÉCáËáäxÂB ãÄåÎáF

ãUá£å³ãQ åÌãÆ ØãËåÂãkåQáF áÑ

and replace for me the animosity of the people of

hatred with love,

áTáäjáÒáÇåÂB ãØå³áRåÂB ãÄåÎáF

ãkátác åÌãÆ áÑ

the envy of the people of insolence with affection,

áUá»ãä\ÂB ãbáÚáä|ÂB ãÄåÎáF ãUáäË㪠åÌãÆ

áÑ

the suspicion of the people of righteousness

with trust,

áUáÖáÙáÒåÂB áÌå×áÊåjáÛBB

ãTáÑBáká® åÌãÆ áÑ

the enmity of those close with friendship,

áTáäoáRáÇåÂB ãÅCácånáÛBB ÕãÑál

ã¹Òâ»â® åÌãÆ áÑ

the disrespect of womb relatives with devotion,

áTáoå|âäËÂB áÌ×ãQáoåºáÛBB

ãÉáÙåmãg åÌãÆ áÑ

the abandonment of relatives with help,

ãUá»ãÇåÂB áe×ãdå|áW áÌÖãnBákâÇåÂB ãäSâc

åÌãÆ áÑ

the attachment of flatterers with love set right,

ãToåxã¯åÂB áÅáoá¾ áÌ×ãtãQáÚâÇåÂB ãäján

åÌãÆ áÑ

the rejection of fellows with generous friendliness,

ãáTáÑáÚác áÌ×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãµåÒág ãTánBáoáÆ åÌãÆ

áÑ

UáËáÆáÛBB and the bitterness of the fear

of wrongdoers with the sweetness of security!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ØãËáÇáÃ᪠åÌáÆ ÔáÃá® BækáÖ ØãÂ

åÄá¯å_B áÑ

appoint for me a hand against him who wrongs

me,

ØãËáÇá{Cág åÌáÆ ÔáÃá® CæÊCátã áÑ

a tongue against him who disputes with me,

ØãÊákáÊCá® åÌáÇãQ Bæoá·áª áÑ

and a victory over him who stubbornly resists

me!

ØãÊákáÖCá¾ åÌáÆ ÔáÃá® Bæoå¿áÆ

Ø~ã åSáÎ áÑ

Give me guile against him who schemes against

me,

ØãÊákáÏá§å¢B ãÌáÆ ÔáÃá® æTánåk⺠áÑ

power over him who oppresses me,

ØãËáRá|ẠåÌáÇã CæRÖãmå¿áW áÑ

refutation of him who reviles me,

ØãÊákáä®áÒáW åÌáäÇãÆ æUáÆáÚás

áÑ

and safety from him who threatens me!

ØãÊájáäkás åÌáÆ ãUá®Cá§ãÂ

ØãËå»ãä¶áÑ áÑ

Grant me success to obey him who points me

straight,

ØãÊákáwånáF åÌáÆ ãUá¯áQCáXâÆÑ

and follow him who guides me right!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãØãËáäxá² åÌáÆ á¡ãnCá®âF åÉáãÛ Ø~ãÊåjãäk~ás áÑ

eå|âäËÂCãQ and point me straight to resist

him who is dishonest toward me with good counsel,

ãäoãRåÂCãQ ØãÊáoá`áÎ åÌáÆ

áÕãqå_áF áÑ

repay him who separates from me with gentle

devotion,

ãÁåmáRåÂCãQ ØãËáÆáoác åÌáÆ

áS×ã[âF áÑ

reward him who deprives me with free giving,

ãUáÃãä|ÂCãQ ØãËá¯á§áº åÌáÆ áOã¶Cá¾âF áÑ

recompense him who cuts me off with joining,

ãoå¾ãämÂB ãÌåtâc ÔáÂãH ØãËáQCáXå²B ãÌáÆ á¸ãÂCágâF áÑ

oppose him who slanders me with excellent

mention,

áUáËátádåÂB áoâ¿åwáF åÉáF áÑ

give thanks for good,

ãUáNãä×áätÂB ãÌá® áØã£å²âF áÑ

and shut my eyes to evil!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

áÌ×ãdãÂCáä|ÂB ãUá×åÃãdãQ ØãËãäÃác áÑ

adorn me with the adornment of the

righteous,

ãÁåká¯åÂB ã¨åtáQ Ø㶠áÌ×ã»áäXâÇåÂB áUáËÖãp

ØãËåtãRåÂáF áÑ

and clothe me in the ornaments of the god fearing, through

spreading justice,

ã¬å×á³åÂB ãÈå«á¾ áÑ

restraining rage,

ãTáoãMEáäËÂB ãAEá·å¦ãH áÑ

quenching the flame of hate,

ãUáºåoâ·åÂB ãÄåÎáF ãäÈᢠáÑ

bringing together the people of separation,

ãÌå×áRåÂB ãVBál ãbáÚå{ãH áÑ

correcting discord,

ãUá¶ãnCá¯åÂB ãAEáxå¶ãH áÑ

spreading about good behaviour,

ãUáRãMEá¯åÂB ãoåXás áÑ

covering faults,

ãUá¿Öãoá¯åÂB ãÌ×ã áÑ

mildness of temper,

ãbCáËá`åÂB ã¤å·ág áÑ

lowering the wing (i.e. being gentle),

ãTáo×ãätÂB ãÌåtâc áÑ

beauty of conduct,

ãeÖãäoÂB ãÉÒâ¿âs áÑ

gravity of bearing,

ãUá·áÂCáhâÇåÂB ãS×㦠áÑ

agreeableness in comportment,

ãUáÃ×ã£á·åÂB ÔáÂãH ã¼åRáätÂBáÑ

precedence in reaching excellence,

ãÄâä£á·áäXÂB ãnCá\ÖãH áÑ

preferring bounteousness,

ão×~ã×å¯áäXÂB ã½åoáW áÑ

refraining from condemnation,

ãä¼ãdáXåtâÇåÂB ãoå×á² ÔáÃá®

ãÁCá£å¶ãåßB áÑ

bestowing bounty on the undeserving,

áäqá® åÉãH áÑ ãä¼ádåÂCãQ

ãÁåÒá»åÂB áÑ

speaking the truth, though it be painful,

ØãÂåÒẠåÌãÆ áoâ\á¾ åÉãH áÑ ãoå×áhåÂB

ãÁáÚå»ãXåsB áÑ

ØãÃå¯ã¶ áÑmaking little of the good in

my words and deeds, though it be much,

ØãÂåÒẠåÌãÆ áäÄẠåÉãH áÑ ãäoáäxÂB ãnCá\å¿ãXåsB áÑ

ØãÃå¯ã¶ áÑand making much of the

evil in my words and deeds, though it be little!

ãUá®Cáä§ÂB ãÅBáÑákãQ Ø~ãÂ

áÀãÂál åÄãÇå¾áFáÑ

Perfect this for me through lasting obedience,

ãUá®CáÇá`åÂB ãÅÑâqâ áÑ

holding fast to the community,

ã ákãRåÂB ãÄåÎáF ã¤å¶án áÑ

and rejecting the people of innovation,

ã áoáXåhâÇåÂB ãÕåFáäoÂB

ØãÃãÇå¯áXåtâÆ áÑ

and those who act in accordance with original

opinions!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

âVåoãRá¾ BálãH áäØáÃá® áÀãºåpãn

á°ásåÑáF åÄá¯å_B áÑ

appoint for me Your widest provision in my old age,

âYåRã|áÊ BálãH áäØ㶠áÀãWáäÒ⺠ÓáÒåºáF

áÑ

and Your strongest strength when I am

exhausted,

áÀãWájCáRã® åÌá® ãÄátá¿åÂCãQ

ØãäËá×ãÃáXåRáW áÙ áÑ

try me not with laziness in worship of You,

áÀãÃ×ãRás åÌá® ÔáÇá¯åÂB áÙ áÑ

blindness toward Your path,

áÀãXáäRádáÆ ãµáÚãhãÂ

ã¡âäoá¯áäXÂCãQ áÙ áÑ

undertaking what opposes love for You,

áÀåËá® á¹áäoá·áW åÌáÆ ãUá¯áÆCá`âÆ áÙ

áÑ

joining with him who has separated himself from

You,

áÀå×áÂãH á°áÇáXå_B ãÌáÆ ãUáºánCá·âÆ áÙ

áÑ

and separating from him who has joined himself to

You!

ãTánÑâoáä£ÂB ákåËã® áÀãQ âÁÒâ{áF Ø~ãË~åÃá¯å_B áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh make me leap to You in times of distress,

ãUá_CádåÂB ákåËã® áÀâÂáGåsáF áÑ

ask from You in needs,

ãUáËá¿åtáÇåÂB ákåËã® áÀå×áÂãH â

áäoá£áWáF áÑ

and plead to You in misery!

âBálãH á½ãoå×á³ãQ ãUáÊCá¯ãXåsãÙCãQ Ø~ãäËãXå·áW áÙ áÑ

Vånãoâ§å¢B Tempt me not to seek help from other than You when I

am distressed,

âVåoá»áXå¶B BálãH á½ãoå×á² ãÁBáKâtã ã

Òâ£âhåÂCãQ áÙ áÑ

to humble myself in asking from someone else when I

am poor,

âYåRãÎán BálãH áÀáÊÑâj åÌáÆ ÔáÂãH ã âäoá£áäXÂCãQ áÙ áÑ

or to plead with someone less than You when I

fear,

áÀá¯åËáÆáÑ áÀáÊáÙåmãg áÀãÂámãQ

áä¼ãdáXåsáGá¶

áÀá¢Báoå®ãHáÑfor then I would deserve Your

abandonment, Your withholding, and Your turning

away,

áÌ×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånáF EáÖ

O Most Merciful of the merciful!

Ø㶠âÉCá§å×áäxÂB Øã»åÃâÖ CáÆ åÄá¯å_B áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

ãkátádåÂB áÑ ØãäËá«áäXÂB áÑ ØãäËáÇáäXÂB áÌãÆ

Øã®Ñân

O Alláh make the wishing, the doubt, and the envy which Satan throws

into my heart

áÀãXáÇá«á¯ã Bæoå¾ãl

a remembrance of Your mightiness,

áÀãWánåk⺠Ø㶠Bæoâä¿á·áW áÑ

a reflection upon Your power,

á½ãäÑâká® ÔáÃá® Bæo×ãQåkáW áÑ

and a devising against Your enemy!

ØãÊCátã ÔáÃá® Óáoå_áF EáÆ áÑ

Make everything he causes to pass over

my tongue,

è¡åoã® ãÈåXáw åÑáF èoå`áÎ åÑáF èyådⶠãUá«å·á èÄã¦CáQ

ãTájCáÏáw åÑáF åÌãÆ

- the indecent or ugly words,the maligning of good repute,

the false witness,

èoã¢Các ãäSás åÑáF èSãMEá² èÌãÆåKâÆ ãPCá×ãXå²B ãÑáF

the speaking ill of an absent man of faith

or the reviling of one present,

áÀá ãkÇádåÂCãQ Cæ»å§âÊ áÀãÂál

áÐáRåwáF EáÆ áÑ

and all things similar - a speech in praise of You,

áÀå×áÃá® ãAEáËáä\ÂB Ø㶠CæºBáoå²ãH áÑ

a pursual of eulogizing You,

á½ãk×ã`åÇáW Ø㶠CæQCáÎál áÑ

an excursion in magnifying You,

áÀãXáÇå¯ãËã Bæoå¿âw áÑ

a thanksgiving for Your favour,

áÀãÊCátåcãIãQ Cæ¶BáoãXå®B áÑ

an acknowledgement of Your beneficence,

áÀãËáËãÇã æAEá|åcãH áÑ

and an enumeration of Your kindnesses!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ØãäËá® ã°å¶áäkÃã ç¼×ã§âÆ áYåÊFáÑ áäÌáÇáÃåªâF áÙ áÑ

let me not be wronged while You can repel from

me,

ã¤åRá»åÂB ÔáÃá® ânãjCá»åÂB áYåÊáF

áÑ áäÌáÇãÃåªáF áÙ áÑØãäËãÆ

let me not do wrong while You are powerful over

holding me back,

ØãXáÖBákãÎ áÀåXáËá¿åÆáF åkáºáÑ

áäÌáäÃã¢áF áÙ áÑ

let me not be misguided while You are able to

guide me,

Øã¯åsâÑ á½ãkåËã® åÌãÆáÑ

áäÉáoã»áXå¶áF áÙ áÑ

let me not be poor while with You is my plenty,

Õãkå_âÑ á½ãkåËã® åÌãÆáÑ áäÌá×á³å¦áF áÙ

áÑ

let me not be insolent while from You comes my

wealth!

âVåká¶áÑ áÀãWáoã·å³áÆ ÔáÂãH

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, I come to Your forgiveness,

âVåká|Ạá½ãÒå·á® ÔáÂãH áÑ

I go straight to Your pardon,

âYå»áXåwB á½ãpâÑCá`áW ÔáÂãH

áÑ

I yearn for Your forbearance,

âYå»ã[áÑ áÀãÃå£á·ãQ áÑ

and I trust in Your bounty,

áÀáWáoã·å³áÆ Øã âSã_ÒâÖ CáÆ

ÕãkåËã® áuå×á áÑ

but there is nothing with me to make me warrant

Your forgiveness,

á½áÒå·á® ãÐãQ âä¼ãdáXåsáF EáÆ

ØãÃáÇá® Ø㶠áÙ áÑ

nothing in my works to make me merit Your

pardon,

áØãtå·áÊ ÔáÃá® âYåÇá¿ác åÉáF ákå¯áQ

Øã CáÆ áÑ

ÀâÃå£á¶ áÙãH and nothing on my behalf after I judge my soul but

Your bounty,

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá® ãäÄá|á¶

so bless Muhammad and his Household,

áäØáÃá® åÄáä£á·áW áÑ

and bestow Your bounty upon me!

ÓákâÏåÂCãQ ØãËå»ã§åÊáFáÑ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, make my speech be guidance,

ÓáÒå»áäXÂB ØãËåÇãÏåÂáF áÑ

inspire me with reverential fear,

Ôá¾åpáF áØãÎ ØãXáäÃãÂ

ØãËå»ãä¶áÑ áÑ

give me success in that which is most pure,

Ôá¢ånáF áÒâÎ CáÇãQ ØãËåÃãÇå¯áXåsB áÑ

and employ me in what is most pleasing to

You!

ÔáÃå\âÇåÂB áUá»Öãoáä§ÂB áØãQ

åÀâÃåsB áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, let me tread the most exemplary path,

Cá×åcáFáÑ âVÒâÆáF áÀãXáäÃãÆ ÔáÃá®

ØãËåÃá¯å_B áÑ

and make me live and die in Your creed!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãjCá|ãXåºãÙCãQ ØãËå¯ãäXáÆ áÑ

give me to enjoy moderation,

ãjBákáätÂB ãÄåÎáF åÌãÆ ØãËåÃá¯å_B áÑ

make me into one of the people of right

behaviour,

ãjCáwáäoÂB ãUáäÂãjáF åÌãÆ áÑ

the proofs of right conduct,

ãjCáRã¯åÂB ØãdãÂCá{ åÌãÆ áÑ

and the servants of righteousness,

ãjCá¯áÇåÂB ápåÒᶠØãËåºâpånBáÑ

and provide me with triumph at the place of Return (to You),

ãjCá{åoãÇåÂB áUáÆáÚás áÑ

and safety from the Ambush (i.e. Hell)!

CáÆ Øãtå·áÊ åÌãÆ áÀãtå·áËã åmâg

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

CáÏâ|ãäÃáhâÖO Alláh, take to Yourself from

my soul what will purify it,

CáÏâdãÃå|âÖ CáÆ Øãtå·áÊ åÌãÆ

Øãtå·áËã ã¼åQáF áÑ

and leave for my soul that of my soul that will set it

right,

CáÏâÇã|å¯áW åÑáF çUá¿ãÂCáÎ Øãtå·áÊ

áäÉãIá¶

for my soul will perish unless You preserve it!

âYåÊãqác åÉãH ØãWáäkâ® áYåÊáF

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, You are my stores when I sorrow,

You are my recourse when I am deprived,

âYå[ãoá¾ åÉãH ØãXá[Cá³ãXåsB áÀãQ

áÑ

from You I seek aid when troubled,

ç¸áÃág áVCᶠCáäÇãÆ á½ákåËã® áÑ

and with You is a substitute for

everything gone by,

çbáÚá{ ákátᶠCáÇã áÑ

a correction for everything corrupted,

ço×ã×å³áW áVåoá¿åÊáF EáÇ×㶠áÑ

and a change from everything You

disapprove.

ãUá×ã¶Cá¯åÂCãQ ãAáÚáRåÂB áÄåRáº

áäØáÃá® åÌâËåÆCá¶

So show kindness to me with well-being before

affliction,

ãTákã`åÂCãQ ãSáÃáä§ÂB áÄåRáº

áÑ

wealth before asking,

ãjCáwáäoÂCãQ ãÁáÚáä£ÂB áÄåRẠáÑ

right conduct before misguidance;

ãjCáRã¯åÂB ãTáäoá¯áÆ áUáÊâKáÆ ØãËã·å¾B

áÑ

suffice me against the burden of shame toward

the servants,

ãjCá¯áÇåÂB ãÅåÒáÖ áÌåÆáF Øã åSáÎ áÑ

give me security on the Day of Return,

ãjCáwånãåßB áÌåtâc ØãËådáËåÆB áÑ

and grant me excellent right guidance!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èk~áäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄ~á{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

áÀã·å§âÃãQ ØãäËá® åFánåjB áÑ

repel from me through Your gentleness,

áÀãXáÇå¯ãËãQ ØãÊâmå²B áÑ

feed me through Your favour,

áÀãÆáoá¿ãQ ØãËådãÃå{áF áÑ

set me right through Your generosity,

áÀã¯åËâ|ãQ ØãÊãÑBáj áÑ

heal me through Your benefaction,

á½Bánál Ø㶠ØãËáäÃãªáF áÑ

shade me in Your shelter,

á½Cá¢ãn ØãËåÃãäÃá_ áÑ

wrap me in Your good pleasure,

ânÒ~âÆâåÛB áäØáÃá® åYáÃá¿áXåwB BálãH

ØãËå»ãä¶áÑ áÑ

CáÎBák~åÎáãÛand give me success to reach the

most guided of affairs when affairs confuse me,

CáÎCá¾åpáãÛ âÁCáÇå®áÛBB

ãY~áÏáQCáxáW BálãH áÑ

the purest of works when works seem similar,

CáÎCá¢ånáãÛ âÄáÃãÇåÂB

ãYá£áºCáËáW BálãH áÑ

and the most pleasing to You of creeds when

creeds conflict!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãUáÖCá·ã¿åÂCãQ ØãËå_ãäÒáW áÑ

crown me with sufficiency,

ãUáÖáÙáÒåÂB áÌåtâc ØãËåÇâs áÑ

place in me excellent guardianship,

ãUáÖBákãÏåÂB á¹åkã{ Øã åSáÎ áÑ

give me to guide correctly,

ãUá¯áätÂCãQ ØãäËãXå·áW áÙ áÑ

tempt me not with plenty,

ãUá®áäkÂB áÌåtâc ØãËådáËåÆB áÑ

grant me excellent ease,

Bæäká¾ Bæäká¾ Øãxå×á® åÄá¯å`áW

áÙ áÑ

make not my life toil and trouble,

Bæäján áäØáÃá® ØãMEá®âj áäjâoáW

áÙ áÑ

and refuse not my supplication in rejection,

Bæäk㢠áÀá âÄá¯å_áF áÙ ØãäÊãIá¶

for I make none rival to You,

BæäkãÊ áÀá¯áÆ Òâ®åjáF áÙ áÑ

and I supplicate none with You as equal!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãµáoáätÂB áÌãÆ ØãËå¯áËåÆB áÑ

hold me back from prodigality,

ã¸áÃáäXÂB áÌãÆ Øãºåpãn åÌãä|ác áÑ

fortify my provision against ruin,

ãÐ×㶠ãUá¾áoáRåÂCãQ ØãXá¿áÃáÆ åoãä¶áÑ

áÑ

increase my possessions through blessing them,

âEáÇ×㶠ãäoãRåÃã ãUáÖBákãÏåÂB áÄ×ãRás

ØãQ åSã{áF áÑ

ÐåËãÆ â¼ã·åÊâF and set me upon the path of

guidance through piety in what I spend!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãPCátãXå¾ãÙB áUáÊÑâKáÆ

ØãËã·å¾B áÑ

spare me the burden of earning,

èPCátãXåcB ãoå×á² åÌãÆ ØãËåºâpånB áÑ

and provide for me without reckoning,

ãSáÃáä§ÂCãQ áÀãWájCáRã® åÌá® áÄã³áXåwáF áÚá¶

lest I be distracted from Your worship through

seeking,

ãSátå¿áÇåÂB ãVCá¯ãRáW áoå{ãH áÄãÇáXåcáF áÙ áÑ

and carry the load of earning’s ill results!

âSâÃå¦áF EáÆ áÀãWánåkâ»ãQ ØãËåRãÃå¦áGᶠáäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, bestow upon me what I seek through Your

power,

âSáÎånáF EáäÇãÆ áÀãWáäqã¯ãQ ØãÊåoã_áF áÑ

and grant me sanctuary from what I fear through

Your might!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãnCátá×åÂCãQ ØãÏå_áÑ åÌâ{ áÑ

save my face through ease,

ãnCáXåºãåßCãQ ØãÎCá_ åÁãmáXåRáW áÙ áÑ

and demean not my dignity through

neediness,

áÀãºåpãn áÄåÎáF á¹ãpåoáXåsáGá¶

lest I seek provision from those whom You

have provided,

áÀã»åÃág ánBáoãw áØã§å¯áXåsáF áÑ

and ask for bestowal from the worst of Your

creatures!

ØãÊCá§å®áF åÌáÆ ãkåÇádãQ

áÌãXáXå¶áGá¶

Then I would be tried by praising him who gave

to me,

ØãËá¯áËáÆ åÌáÆ ãäÅámãQ ÔáÃáXåQâF

áÑ

and afflicted with blaming him who held

back from me,

ã°åËáÇåÂBáÑ ãAEá§å®ãåßB âäØãÂáÑ åÈãÏãÊÑâj åÌãÆ áYåÊáF

áÑ

while You - not they - are patron of giving and

holding back.

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

èTájCáRã® Ø㶠æUáädã{ ØãËåºâpånB

áÑ

and provide me with soundness in worship,

èTájCáÎáp Ø㶠Cæ²BáoᶠáÑ

detachment in renunciation,

èÁCáÇå¯ãXåsB Ø㶠CæÇåÃã® áÑ

knowledge put into action,

èÁCáÇå_ãH Ø㶠Cæ®ánáÑ áÑ

and abstinence in measure!

ØãÃá_áF á½ãÒå·á¯ãQ åÈãXågB

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, seal my term with Your pardon,

ØãÃáÆáF áÀãXáÇåcán ãAEá_án Ø㶠å¼ãä»ác

áÑ

verify my expectation in hoping for Your mercy,

ØãÃâRâs á½Cá¢ãn ã±ÒâÃâQ ÔáÂãH

åÄãäÏás áÑ

smooth my paths to reach Your good pleasure,

ØãÃáÇá® ØãÂBáÒåcáF ã°×ãÇá_ Ø㶠åÌãätác

áÑ

and make my works good in all my states!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

ãUáÃå·á³åÂB ãVCáºåÑáF Ø㶠á½ãoå¾ãmãÂ

ØãËåÏãäRáÊ áÑ

incite me to remember You in times of heedlessness,

ãUáÃåÏâÇåÂB ãÅCáäÖáF Ø㶠áÀãXá®Cá§ãQ

ØãËåÃãÇå¯áXåsB áÑ

employ me in Your obedience in days of

disregard,

æUáÃåÏás æÚ×ãRás áÀãXáäRádáÆ ÔáÂãH

Øã åaáÏåÊB áÑ

open a smooth road for me to Your love,

ãTáoãgåÝB áÑ Cá×åÊâäkÂB áoå×ág CáÏãQ Øã åÄãÇå¾áF

and complete for me thereby the good of this

world and the next!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and his Household,

âáÀã»åÃág åÌãÆ èkácáF ÔáÃá® áYå×áäÃá{ CáÆ

ãÄá£å¶áGá¾

ÐáÃåRẠthe best You have blessed

any of Your creatures before him,

âÍákå¯áQ èkácáF ÔáÃá® èäÄá|âÆ

áYåÊáF áÑ

and will bless any of them after him,

æãTáoãgåÝB Ø㶠áÑ æUáËátác Cá×åÊâäkÂB

Ø㶠CáËãWD áÑ

UáËátác and give to us in this World good, and in the next world

good,

ãnCáäËÂB áPBámá® áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ ØãËãº

áÑ

and protect me through Your mercy from the

chastisement of the Fire! (2:201)
