Pineapple Log Cabin Block Assembly
1. Use Side A of the Pineapple Log Cabin Ruler to cut the fabrics as listed in the FabricRequirements table. The Rotary Cutting table provides the measurements for each patch.
2. Using a scant _” seam allowance, sew the top and bottom patches of Row 1 to the centersquare. Press logs open with seams away from center square. Diagrams 1A, 1B, 1C.
3. Sew side patches of Row 1 to center square and press logs open with seams away from centersquare. Diagrams 1D, 1E.
4. Use Side B of the Pineapple Log Cabin Ruler to trim Row 1 patches as shown. Diagrams 1F, 1G,1H.
5. Trim all four sides of Row 1. Diagram 1I.6. Center Row 2 patches RST matching raw edges of Row 1.Sew top and bottom Row 2 patches to
Row 1 and press logs away from center square. Diagrams 2A, 2B, 2C.7. Repeat process, and sew side patches of Row 2 to Row 1 and press logs away from center
square. Diagrams 2D, 2E.8. Use Side B of the Pineapple Log Cabin Ruler to trim Row 2 patches as shown. Diagrams 2F, 2G.9. Continue adding odd and even rows of logs by centering patches RST in this manner through
Row 9. Press logs open and always press seams away from center square. Diagrams 3A, 3B,3C, 3D, 3E.
10. After the addition of each complete row of logs, use Side B of the Pineapple Log Cabin Ruler totrim edges from logs before adding next row. Diagrams 3F, 3G, 3H.
11. Add Row 10 triangle units to four corners of block. Press triangles open with seams away fromcenter squares. Diagrams 4A, 4B.
12. Use Side A of Pineapple Log Cabin Ruler to square block to 12_” unfinished.

13. Follow block layout diagram and carefully rotate blocks to complete quilt top as shown in colordiagram above.
14. Add inner borders; then add outer borders. Press all border seams away from quilt center.15. Layer batting and backing. Quilt as desired.16. Add binding by hand or machine. Don’t forget to add a label and sign the back of your quilt in
