Silt Mitigating Measures ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES
Constructed the following silt mitigating measures, within all active areas, with a combined volume capacity of about 145,007.53 cubic meters: Ø 41.86 kilometers of perimeter
canals with at least 1m2 cross sectional area
Ø 307 silt traps Ø 86 silt ponds in series of 2, 3, or
4 ponds depending on the demand of the area
A total of 40.52 hectares mined-out area has been rehabilitated and revegetated

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND CSR Rescue and Relief Operation (Typhoon Lando, 2015) The RELIEF OPERATION were able to help at least 3,000 Sta. Cruz residents affected by Typhoon Lando. First wave of relief opera/on was on October 20, 2015 for 472 beneficiaries from 10 brgys. Second wave of relief to Brgy. Guisguis, Bayto, Naulo, Biay, Pagatpat, Malabago, Gama, Canaynayan and Poblacion South was started on October 22-‐28, 2015. Hundreds of People were RESCUED AND A S S I S T ED t h r o u g h t h e evacua/on ac/vity of the ERT.
