TEACHING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (TEFL) CERTIFICATE PROGRAMThe ACP TEFL Certificate Program thoughtfully combines current trends
in language teaching pedagogy with traditional best practices in the
language teaching field. Whether your aim is to teach adults, children, or
both, our program content carefully addresses these unique audiences.

UCI's EMI Teacher Training Program gives university
professors the opportunity to improve their core
competency in English while fine-tuning their
instructional techniques. We incorporate fully customized
EMI pedagogical training workshops and UCI class
observations to best meet the goals of each group. This
comprehensive, hands-on approach has proven highly
successful in preparing instructors to effectively teach
courses from their academic field in English.
