This enables people to more easily see, analyze, and understand patterns and relationships.

Restaurant is one of the most frequently searched Point of Interest(POI) in maps. New restaurants are opening up in Bangalore to cater to the needs of the people and the

established restaurants are opening branches too. There are also some very famous but small scale restaurants which are absent online Therefore we chose to mark restaurants in the open source maps so that these maps are

updated and also to give small scale restaurants an online presence
