On 14 July 2012, the Kepler spacecraft experienced a disruption in science

data due to a failure in reaction wheel 2

Following the failure of reaction wheel 4 on 11 May 2013, the Kepler

spacecraft were successful moved from a Thruster-Controlled Safe Mode to

Point Rest State

The Kepler spacecraft remains in its Point Rest State (PRS) at a present

distance of 75 million km from Earth
