Don’t  burn  leaves.  Low  heat  smoldering  fires  produce  dioxins,  very  dangerous  and  toxic.  

Collect  Leaves.  Sweep  up  all  the  garden  liLer/clippings  and  leaves  into  a  bucket  (do  not  use  plasPc  bags)  

Bucket  fi7ed  with  a  plas:c  bag  to  separate  the  gutka/plas:c  bits  from  the  leaves  put  into  bucket.    

Put  this  into  the  Leaf  Composters.  Give  your  garden  an  aStude!  

Put  water  daily  into  the  Leaf  Composters.  At  least  2  buckets  daily.    

You  need  to  press  down  only  once  in  a  way.    Use  a  stout  sPck.    

In  4  months  ?me  the  insides  begin  to  compost  –  rich  dark  crumbly  material,  sweet  

smelling  too!  The  outside  sPll  looks  dry!    

You  can  add  earthworms  and  microbial  culture  in  this  to  hasten  the  decomposiPon  

Take  this  out  when  you  need  This  gardener  took  it  out  early  –  its  not  composted  enough!    

Put  it  on  beds  and  around  trees  to  keep  soil  healthy
