To maintain good performance
Do not use the uni t in places which are extremely hot ,
cold, dusty or humid. Inparticular, do not keep the unit:
ina high humidity area such as a bathroom
near a heater
i n an area exposed to d irect sun li gh t (e.g. , inside a
parked car, where there could bea considerable rise in
temperature)
Notes on li stening with the headphones
Listen at a moderate volume to avoid hearing damage.
Donotwear the headphones while driving orcycling. It
may create a traffic hazard.
You shou ld use ex treme caut ion o r temporar il y
discontinue usein potentially hazardous situations, such
as walking, jogging, etc.
Wear them properly: L isleft, R is right.
The headphones should be worn with the longer cord

I f incorrect information is displayed+
If the unit is operated while the battery is low, incorrect
information may be displayed. Ifthis happens, reset the
uni t by press ing the RESET button ins ide the battery
compartment with a pointed tool.
When the unit is reset, preset stations and time are lost.
Set them again.
Cleaning the case
Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent
solution. Do not use strong solvents (alcohol, benzine,
thinner, etc.) to clean the case.

Battery replacement
Replace the battery when “~” is d isplayed.
If you continue to use the unit, power will go off
automatically when the battery wears out, and the power
cannot be turned on without replacing the battery.

signal is weak.

1 Tuna into a station.
2 Press MEMORY/TIME SET.
“PRESET” flashes for about 10 seconds.
3 Press a TUNING – or +) repeatedly to select the
preset number while “PRESET” is flashing.
4 Preaa MEMORYflfME SET while “PRESET” ie
flashing.
To preset two or more stations, repeat the procedure
from the beginning.
If fiashing stops during operation
Repeat the procedure from step 2.
LISTENING TO PRESET STATIONS --

Press POWER.
2 Press BAND repeatedly toselect AM, FM1 or FM2.
3 Press a PRESET V or A) repeatedly until the
desired preset number is displayed.
4 Adjust the volume.
After listening, turn off the power by pressing POWER,
DELETING PRESET STATIONS
If you delete a preset number, i t wil l be ekipped when
selecting a preset number.
1 Selact a preset station you wish to deleta.

1 Keep BAND pressed for about 5 seconds.
The reception area (U, L/ or ~) appears for 10
seconds.
2 Whil e the reception area appears, press aTUNING
+ or - ) to select iJ, J or E.
3 Press BAND.
