MEDITATION ON THE MOVE Speeding Slowly through life Peacefully Pacing Life Life gets hectic sometimes. So much to do, so little time. Rushing here, rushing there. Taking time out to sit and relax seems like a dream. Hi and welcome to Meditation on the Move – my solution to finding time for yourself. If you are like the hare, rushing through life, always on a busy schedule, feeling exhausted yet pushing on through the quagmire of chores, responsibilities, activities and work that you are required to do – then let me introduce the tortoise. Who is here to outpace you. I will show you how to slow your life down to a speed that gets more done, in less time and with energy to spare.
HOW TO MAKE IT WORK. There really is only one thing you need to do to make meditation work, and that is to be open to it. Let go of any resistance. In order to embrace the experience, all you need is to be as determined as the tortoise. It may not be all you think it will be after one go – maybe your mind is resisting (as it does) anything new, however with persistence – like the tortoise – you will win the race.
If you start meditating, a lot will change for you.
Through meditation, you will: • Get to know yourself intimately, • Live authentically fulfilled • Find inner peace and joy
You will discover that over time you will:
• Let go of sh!!. • be calm in a crisis, • not to react to aggravation • create more time for the things you enjoy • have more energy – not be tired • be motivated • be more productive • be congruent • get creative

Why Meditation on the Move… Before I give you details about my program, Id like to explain why Im a passionate believer in the benefits of meditation, so you can see how it will help you. You see, Im a busy person, I have a lot going on, so finding time for me was tricky, and at a time when I thought my life was about to end, meditation saved me. My life ended one day when my future and my dreams were pulled out from under me, like a magician flicking a tablecloth off the table. I was devastated. I felt that everything I had worked for and dreamed of was taken from me and if it wasn’t for meditation, I would not have been able to move forward. Meditation kept my thoughts clear and me calm. Meditation allowed me to go from devastated to delighted in just 3 months. Now 1 year later, I am a different person. My life is happier, healthier, and more fulfilling than ever before. I am grateful for the experience that caused me to realign, and re-strategise my life. It has been a journey of discovery this last year, a time of regrowth and rebuilding, but with meditation as one of the tools – it has enabled me to eliminate hidden inhibitions that kept me shining and following my heart.
TYPES OF MEDITATION… Just so you have an idea of what you are doing, Id like to share the types of meditation and how old it is and how its going change your life. Many realms have been doing meditation for years. It is said there is evidence that
people have meditated since 1700B.C. as ancient artwork has been discovered. The meditation practice that I enjoy and find best is an Indian one that Paramashamsa Nithyananda, a living incarnation and enlightened being teaches. It is the Vedic Style meditation and he performs meditation ceremonies to help clear your incompletions so you can face your life.
Following are brief explanations of other the types of Meditations from the Indian, Japanese and Chinese cultures. Other Indian style meditations are Transcendental meditation, Yogic Meditations – from the term “yoga” meaning unity. Yogic meditations include Third Eye meditations, Chakra, Kundalini, Kriya, Pranayama (breathing) Tantric, Trataka (gazing) and Sound meditation. Self enquiry or “I am” meditation is also another method.

Popular Japanese Buddhist style techniques are Zazan or zen Meditation and Vipassana – a Pali word meaning “insight” or “clear seeing”. Vipassana meditation has been embraced as a mindfulness practice in western society.
Mindfulness meditation is the practice of intentionally focusing on the present moment, paying attention to the sensations, thoughts and emotions that arise.
Metta Meditation or Loving Kindness Meditation is the practice that the Happiest Monk Alive (Mathieu Richard’s) does daily. The more you practice this meditation the more joy will experience.
Qigong and Daoist meditation practices come from the Chinese main text the Tao Te Ching, which dates back to the 6th century.
There are also Christian styles of meditation such as prayer, contemplative reading and “sitting with God”.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF MEDITATION.. Here are some of the benefits of meditation. It can increase your focus, increase your immunity and decrease depression and anxiety.
