BSc Thesis:
Pro- and Anti- inflammatory cytokine profiles in patients with stable and unstable
coronary artery disease. ( Supervised by Dr Sheron and Dr Simpson SUHT).
BSc Biochemistry / Physiology. Two hundred patients were recruited from both the
cardiac catheter laboratories and CCU. The cytokines IL-6, TNF and IL-10 levels
were compared between patients with an ACS and stable angina. Their plasma and
serum samples have been stored for subsequent studies. The results were presented at
Winchester Hospital during a meeting for The Royal College of Physicians, at
Southampton General Hospital ‘Grand Round’ and the 4th Year Conference.
Work in Progress:
Outcomes of medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction for patella instability.
Outcomes of tibial tubercle osteotomies for anterior knee pain.
