In a year where the events in the Middle East and the escalation of violence in Ukraine brought violent conflict very close to home, PATRIR as one of the few declared peacebuilding institutions in Eastern Europe paid close attention to these dynamics and continued its efforts to conduct in-depth multi-partial analysis, to seek to support peace intelligence through its capacity building programmes and to focus, perhaps more than before on weaving at the national level in Romania a systemic base for non-violence.
