The McCulloch-Pits neuron is perhaps the earliest artificial

neuron [McCulloch & Pitts, 1993]. Its displays several important

features found in many neural networks. The requirements for

McCulloch-Pitts neurals may be summarized as follows:

1. The activation of a McCulloch-Pitts neuron is binary. That is, at

many time step, the neuron either fires (has an activation of 1) or

does notfire (has an activation of 0)

2. McCulloch-Pits neurons are connected by directed, weighted

paths.
