Otra vez más, y ya son once, tenéis en vuestras

manos una propuesta para escapar por un

tiempo de lo cotidiano.

Pensamos que en estos momentos de cierto

bajón de ánimo y con más preocupaciones

que hace relativamente poco tiempo, podéis

“apuntaros” a esta expedición, como os sugie-

re Alfonso Brezmes en su viaje al futuro.

evasión momentánea, a la reflexión profunda

y al disfrute de los sentimientos, siguiendo

expedición de Sir Ernest Shackleton y su

Endurance han sido pocas las oportunidades

de ofrecerse como explorador, ahora con este

libro podemos enrolarnos en la aventura de

sus páginas y disfrutarlo.

Me gustaría hablaros del porvenir

ahora, ese lugar por definición

incierto en donde el corazón

reposa sus anhelos y sus temores

la carne. Me gustaría deciros,

del amor, que encontró consuelo,

de la destrucción, que halló su

propia medicina. Allá, en los

días venideros. Así colmaría yo

mi vida enviando estas postales

desde el futuro y vosotros

reputaríais cumplido el encargo:

fue un emisario fiel, nos trajo

hermosas mentiras hasta el pasado

para tranquilidad de nuestras

almas y reposo de nuestras

conciencias. Me gustaría. Mas no

era ese el trato. Así que dejaré

que los días se sucedan a las

noches, incesantes, y que el río

oscuro que nos lleva corra hasta

el fin de los tiempos.

Tic-tac. Tic-tac.

Suenan las horas.

Tic-tac. Tic-tac.

Pasan los años.

Lugar: isla del doctor Moreau

Estado: curioso

Se está bien en el futuro,

aunque hace un poco de frío.

Hoy ha habido tormenta.

Al escampar, apareció un rinoceronte

gigante

y el recuerdo fugaz de un desconocido

que acaso fui yo.

Parecía un campo de bombas

dejadas al azar por un enamorado

despechado.

Lugar: en algún cuento

Estado: perdido

Si se pudiera visitar el mañana,

seríamos capaces acaso de alterar lo

venidero.

y alguien podría advertirnos:

no entréis en los bosques,

no malgastéis las horas

contadas de antemano para vosotros,

ni frecuentéis las malas compañías.

Vagamos en pos de la verdad,

pero se necesitan hermosas mentiras

para soportar el viaje.

Estado: sentimental

Enhorabuena: sois los dueños del presente.

La vida así dispuesta y entregada

será lo que vosotros queráis,

Estado: tranquilo

Escribo poemas, tomo fotos, sudo, sangro,

la vida me atrapa entre sus labios.

Tomo poemas, escribo fotos, lloro, río,

la vida se escurre entre mis dedos.

Lugar: isla de las ilusiones perdidas

Estado:todo más claro

Lo malo de vivir en el futuro

es que enseguida se pierde

la ilusión por lo vivido:

ya nada es acaso o tal vez nunca;

ya todo es certeza y para siempre.

Estado: Desencantado

Sin noticias del presente.

La única ventaja de estar antes que nadie

en esto que llamamos Porvenir

es para comprobar que la Historia

se parece demasiado

(tal y como sospechábamos)

a aquello que nunca debió ser.

Lugar: Río revuelto

Estado: mareado

Acaso el fracaso no sea el peor de

los azares.

Preguntádselo si no al viajero

que en sus maletas esconde,

junto a los recuerdos del viaje,

el mapa de los caminos tachados

y la nostalgia

de todas las fronteras por cruzar.

Lugar: Incertidumbre

Estado: desorientado

De haberlo sabido antes

aquél día no habría tomado ese sendero.

mi piel no sentiría hoy nostalgia de tu

Atentos a las señales del camino:

Alguien debe cambiarlas adrede,

por el solo placer de ver vagar

errabundas

a sus tristes criaturas sin destino.

Estado: trastorno transitorio

Hoy es este eterno sin final que nos

detiene -como un daguerrotipo-

en la cárcel cruel de su instante.

Ayer es nunca sin embargo,

al igual que mañana,

promesa que no llega,

tren que siempre se aleja con sus

vagones vacíos.

Y los pasajeros en tierra,

agitando sus pañuelos mojados...

Lugar: Hoy

Estado: consciente

Repetidlo conmigo: no hay mañana

si para el mañana sólo se vive.

Aquellos que diseñaron cuidadosamente

su futuro

yacen hoy aquí sepultados.

estatuas son de aire,

columnas de humo que sustentan

un templo arruinado:

el de la felicidad perdida.

Estado: Despierto

Pasajero del tiempo,

tarde descubrí el sentido del viaje.

Todo es posible y nada es para siempre:

ésta es nuestra gozosa condena,

la de vivir en la frontera.

entre la ceniza y el prodigio.
