RENTAL CONDITIONS JUCY NEW ZEALAND Camper rate includes:
• Basic insurance cover for Jucy vehicle ($3,000 for the Cabana, Condo, Chaser / $5000 for the Casa and Casa Plus -‐ excess/deductible/bond applies)
• Unlimited kilometers
• Bedding and living equipment
• 24/7 AA Roadside breakdown Assistance
• Rates on pick up date determine the daily rate for the first 30 days, hires longer than 30 days will be re-‐calculated.
Camper rate is exclusive of: Excess reduction options, Optional Extras , One-‐Way Rental Fees, Premium location fees
All rates and conditions are subject to change as required and without prior notification.
Deposit/credit card The excess is payable by credit card only. Please note that this amount will be debited to the hirer's credit card immediately. The bond is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time to the correct location, undamaged, with a clean interior and with a full fuel tank. Please note the bond will be debited regardless of insurance purchased through a third party.
The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa, MasterCard & American Express. A credit card administration fee of 2% applies to use of Visa and MasterCard and 4% applies to use of American Express for payment and security bond purposes. The credit card administration fee will not be refunded.
Exchange Rate / Currency Variations All transactions are conducted in New Zealand dollars. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, there could be some variance between the amount initially debited against the hirer's credit card and the amount refunded at the expiration of the rental period.
Insurance excess / insurance The insurance excess is NZ$3,000 for the Cabana, Chaser and Condo / $5000 for the Casa and Casa Plus on theft, loss or damages on/to the vehicle. The hirer and any driver authorized to drive the vehicle is indemnified up to a limit of NZ$2,000,000; this is in respect of any liability the hirer might have for damage to any property (including injury to any animal) belonging to any other person and arising out of use of the vehicles. Third party cover is included in the quoted rate. The third party option covers the hirer for all damage to a third party vehicle in the unlikely event of an accident. Personal belongings are not covered. We recommend the hirer does not leave valuables in the
vehicle and should take out personal insurance.
Driver requirements A current and full motor vehicle driver’s license is required. If the driver’s license is not in the English language then an international driver’s license is also recommended. Drivers must be 18 years of age or over.
Minimum/Maximum rental period JUCY minimum hire periods can change without notice. One-‐ways One-‐way hires between between 20 DECEMBER – 31 MARCH will incur a NZ$195 one-‐way fee. MANDATORY FEES Premium Pick Up Location Fees
. Auckland Airport, Wellington and Christchurch Airport $10
. Dunedin and Queenstown Airport $15
• A $195 large vehicle location fee will be charged with CASA and CASA PLUS hires picking up and dropping off in Queenstown. This includes the Premium location fee if picking up in Queenstown. If picking up in Christchurch or Auckland that locations premium location fee will apply
Cancellation If the booking is cancelled 22 days or more prior to the pick up date, no charge applies; If the booking is cancelled within 1-‐21 days prior to the pick up date, 20% of the total booking value will be charged; If the booking is cancelled on the day of the pick up or is a NO SHOW, 100% of the total booking value will be charged. Changes All amendments are subject to approval by Jucy. One grace amendment is permitted at no cost. Subsequent amendments will be charged at a rate of NZ$25 and is at the discretion of Jucy. If a reservation collection, return location, category, collection point or return date(s) is amended prior to collection, the rate may be recalculated. Rate recalculations are based on the rate at the time of reservation or the new rate at time of amendment (whichever is higher). In the instance where an extension is made while on hire, Jucy will calculate the additional day’s charge at the applicable vehicle rate. Should the hirer decide to voluntarily downgrade their vehicle type from the category booked, the hirer will not be entitled to a refund.
Transfers JUCY AUCKLAND AIRPORT DURING OFFICE HOURS
• The branch does not offer a shuttle service to/from the city centre • The branch offers a pick up/drop off service to and from the airport during office hours.
Customers need to call JUCY on 0800 399 736 (NZ Freephone) or +64 9 374 4360 when they arrive at the airport to arrange the shuttle transfer. The last shuttle run to the airport is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
• The latest pick up time for campas is 5pm. • Customers need to return their JUCY Wheels to the branch, not to the airport. We can then
drop the customers back to the airport, just as long as this is during office hours.
OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS
• Campas are unable to be picked up or returned outside of office hours.
JUCY WELLINGTON DURING OFFICE HOURS
• The branch does not offer a shuttle service to/from the city centre • The branch offers a pick up/drop off service to and from the airport during office hours.

JUCY CHRISTCHURCH DURING OFFICE HOURS
• Getting your wheels (or dropping them off) from JUCY during office hours is super easy and we’ve done everything we can to get you on your way as quickly as possible! JUCY campervan rental at Christchurch Airport offers free airport shuttle transfers to and from the airport terminal and from airport hotels. When you arrive at the airport, please call us from any phone on 0800 399 736 and we will come to collect you.
• If you need a hotel pick up please arrange this at time of booking your vehicle or you can call us on 0800 399 736. Our Christchurch campervan rental office is just a stone’s throw from the airport.
• If you need to get back into Christchurch City after returning your vehicle to our office we can arrange a shuttle which costs $18 for the first per person, then $5 for each additional passenger. This shuttle leaves every hour and will drop you back into the city centre or in the Riccarton area. If you need to go back to the airport we will shuttle you back to the airport ourselves free of charge
OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS
• We do not allow after hours drop off for campervans.
JUCY QUEENSTOWN DURING OFFICE HOURS
• For pick-‐ups, customers need to head to the green and purple JUCY counter inside the arrivals hall at Queenstown Airport.
• The branch offers a free pick up service from the town centre. The shuttle service runs from Monday to Sunday at 10am, 12pm and 3pm. Limited seats are available, so please contact our Reservations team to arrange this.
• The latest pick up time for campas is 4:30pm. • For returns, on entering the Queenstown Airport, the customer must return the vehicle to
the JUCY yard which is located at the end of the airport loop, by following the exit road out of
the airport. Do not follow the signs to the RENTAL CAR RETURNS as JUCY are not in this car park.
• The customer will need to ensure that the vehicle fuel tank is full and that they have removed all of their belongings. They will then need to lock the vehicle and hand the keys to a staff member in the JUCY yard.

• Campas are unable to be picked up or returned outside of office hours.
Repairs Any problems associated with the vehicle including equipment failure must be reported to the owner as soon as possible within 24 hours in order to give the owner the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental period. We do not accept liability for any claims submitted after this period. The owner will always endeavor to rectify the problem within 24 hours of being notified.
Infringements, administration fees & fuel Any unpaid infringements incurred during the rental period are transferred to the hirer’s name, and are subject to an additional NZ$75 administration fee over and above the infringements costs. This includes any known and unknown speeding or parking fines. Any unpaid toll road infringements incurred during the rental period are subject to a NZ$25 administration fee for each infringement received not per hire. A fee of NZ$500 will be charged for failure to empty the grey water or toilet cassette (if applicable). Except where the hirer has a pre-‐purchased gas option and/or pre-‐purchased fuel option, failure to return the vehicle with full petrol, diesel and/or LPG tanks will result in refill charges. Petrol, diesel and LPG gas refill charges will be advised upon return of the vehicle.
• If the vehicle is returned late, a full day hire applies for each day until the vehicle is re-‐turned. An additional late return fee may also apply.
• Where the vehicle is involved in a single vehicle roll over or the roof of the vehicle is damaged as a result of any single vehicle incident or accident the hirer is liable for costs of up to $5000.
• JUCY should be notified of any accident, mechanical breakdown or equipment failure within 24 hours of it occurring
• JUCY does not cover loss or damage to any personal belongings.
• The hirer is liable for all costs associated in replacing keys, which have been lost, broken or damaged and/or the cost of retrieval of keys which have been locked inside a vehicle. Please note a replacement key could be up to $1,000 plus associated costs to the event.
• The hirer acknowledges and agrees that the vehicle may only be driven during the term of hire by the person(s) specified as authorised driver(s) in the rental agreement or agreed to later by JUCY.
Animals / Smoking No animals are permitted in our vehicles / Smoking is not allowed in our vehicles. A cleaning feeof up to $250 may apply. Travel restrictions The vehicle will not be insured if operated on any of the following roads: Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), roads north of Colville Township, Ball Hutt Road (Mt Cook), Skippers Road (Queenstown).
Traveling with children The Child Restraint Law stipulates that children under 5 must be properly restrained in an approved child restraint. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the child restraint is installed correctly. It is strongly recommended by Land Transport New Zealand that children should be seated in the rear of a vehicle.
Optional extras Additional driver; GPS; Camp chairs; Child seats; Roof racks; Snow chains, baby seats, booster seats
Insurance claims Any insurance claim will incur a $75 admin fee-‐ regardless of any reduction option chosen.
