Public Private Partnership
The objective of the PPP is to increase investment in fiberinfrastructure, increase competition and lower the cost of
transit capacity in Malawi.
GoM (PPPC) acts as a anchor customer and pays money for
services for 10 years in advance (per milestone reached).SimbaNET has constructed the 800km of infrastructure and
a world class Cable Landing Station (Virtual Landing Point)
in order to deliver the services. SNMW is expected and
encouraged to sell services to as many people as possible.
