STRUCTURE

I like the idea of SMEF member of the week. It is a nice way to award people.

I'd like SMEF to be more involved and encouraging of other Krannert and Purdue events.

Clarity of meeting times & places was excellent for both fairs this year. Member involvement/attendance has improved immensely in the past year. I want to see this continue.

MEETINGS

Have efficient meetings and have less meetings.

It is not acceptable for members to miss meetings. I think if you miss meetings you are not allowed to be a committee head. Disappointed with some of the seniors. They did not show a good example for the new members. Not all of them! But some did not help out and ob didn't want to be there.

SOCIAL

I think our friendship between members has really grown and I would like to see that continue. The passion for the organization needs to continue to grow!

I would like to see SMEF hang out outside of meetings more. It doesn't have to be anything special or expensive. Hanging around someone's house for a night and interacting would be fun and a great way to meet other members

Social aspect of SMEF has improved over the past year, I'd like to see this remain a priority. Feelings of closeness -> feelings of trust -> better collaboration.

I would like to see more social hangouts with SMEF members.

More social events maybe?

I think we should try to do more events together as an organization outside of the fair. It would be great if we could try to set something up once a month for whoever can make it to provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other better.

COMMITTEES

I would like to see committee heads display more ownership of their members. (ex. If a member is not at an event, their committee head should be able to explain why.) I think they're a middle man between Pres/VP and committee members that often goes unused. Breaking the structure out so that Pres/VP are responsible for committee heads and committee heads are responsible for committee members will make communication much smoother and more detail-oriented. I also REALLY want to see every single committee member have tasks delegated to them by their committee head.

I would have liked to be a little more involved with the tasks for my committee, and if we are supposed to do something, actually get it accomplished. We should have had more committee meetins. I think the communication was pretty good, and the meetings were run very well!

More communication between committees. Better organization of duties and tasks for committee heads to delegate to committee members.

I would like to see committee heads delegate their tasks to each committee member as their own task. Each committee member would know their specific responsibiltiy to fulfill before the fair.
