designed for customers, not dancers!
3. Auditioning
What to bring- stripper stilettos, legal g-string, two
outfits
What to expect- main stage rotation, satellite stage, eyeballed in
the dressing room, or hired on spot in street clothes.
What to wear when you walk in- look sexy but not slutty. DON'T wear
stripper stilettos, but do wear a short skirt or form fitting pants
that flaunt your figure and a halter or low cut top. DON'T wear gym
clothes or Juicy tracksuit!
What time of day- go during the shift that you want to work.
4. Paperwork, Getting Hired
IRS form W-9 this states that you agree to be an independent
contractor and are responsible for filing your own tax return
Business License-you must obtain any city or state licenses.The
club will provide information
Club Orientation- overview of club rules and procedures.Usually
performed by manager or housemom
House Fees- stage rental fee that you pay the club each night
Tip Out- mandatory minimum to DJ, Security Staff, Housemom, and
sometimes manager.
5. What Shifts to Work
Day shift- 11am business lunch crowd
Mid shift- 3pm-7pm, includes happy hour
Night shift- after 8pm
Las Vegas Clubs are open 24 Hours
Prime Night Shift 8 pm
Early AM Shift- Midnight, 2 or 3 am
Day shift- after 9am
6. Stripper Checklist-Whats in your Bag?
Combination LOCK
Make up for touch ups
Two extra outfits
Two extra gstrings
Bodyspray or perfume (not lotion)
Feminine products
Superglue for shoes
Two snacks (Balance/Zone 210 calories each)
eat every 2 -3 hours to keep energy up
Bottle of water
7. Stripper Etiquette
Don't dance for guys at the tip rail-take them somewhere else
If you Share the stage: pick up your tips when given to you, and
keep moving, share good tippers with the other girl on stage
If only one girl per stage: Be on time! Dont make the girl before
you wait
Personal Hygiene- hair is washed, legs, armpits and bikini line
clean shaven or waxed, brush teeth, clean costumes
Avoid chewing gum, talking on phone on floor
8. Why Stripping is a Sales Industry
Your ability to make massive amounts of cash depends on your
ability to gain rapport with the customer, and close a sale.
Looking pretty doesn't = hours in the champagne room
This is a skill based business.
You are selling your time, attention, companionship and also
drinks/merchandise for the club.
