At the earlier stage, we do moldflow analysis with hot runner with direct edge gate(feed on part) & open gate(feed on runner). If so, it's difficult to removethe edge waste runner, so finnally we suggest using hot runner with pin gate(feed on part) & open gate (feed on runner) solution. Under the final solution, the filling time will be longer.

(1)Part with plenty of lifters with thin thickness, and distance between lifters are closed. So in the design process, we extened the lifter head, to shorten lifter length. (2)To balance ejection, we fixed the ejector plate and mold B-side.

10Clearance: 0.5mm

The whole part is cambered. To avoid problems when mold assembly, we only reverse 35mm seal off position inthe parting line, others we do clearance.

As the height difference between the cambered high and low position, considering the potential problem caused by unbalanced injection, so we enhanced the design of pointed positions.

As the height difference between the cambered high and low position is 140mm, considering the unbalanced inject, the slots (pointed positions) were directly cut from mold base, do support plates on the four corners.

Mold length is 1400mm, far exceed the KO center distance 700mm. Additional, there are 20 lifters, so we use two hydralic to assist ejector, to avoid possible ejection balance problem.
