We use the power of theater and the arts to inspire, build community, act as a springboard for discussion and encourage students to tell their own stories. Below is an overview of our upcoming theater schedule offered to you and your family.
All families in our Project Success partner schools can receive up to 4 tickets per show at no cost to you.

TRIP COST & SCHOLARSHIPS
The trip cost is $500. If a family can afford to pay the entire amount, we appreciate that they do so, allowing
us to continue to take more students on this valuable trip. However,
Project Success wants to ensure we include all students who really want
to go, regardless of cost. Need-based scholarships are available and easy to
obtain for $50 - $450 of the trip fee. Scholarship applications are included in
the application packet.
This week-long experience supports our programming by inspiring students to set goals, practice support and experience success in the most beautiful setting in Minnesota. The Project Success BWCA Adventure is led by Project Success staff and professional Wilderness Guides. Throughout the week, students will learn and practice the basic skills needed for their adventure including:
• an introduction to nature and wildlife and general wilderness safety;• paddling, steering and carrying a canoe, canoe safety and safety in the water;• packing and carrying gear and food for a week-long wilderness adventure;• setting up and breaking down tents;• finding firewood and building responsible campfires;• cooking meals over a camp stove or campfire; and• reading a BWCA map to navigate their route through the wilderness.
Students will be spending every day paddling canoes on beautiful lakes and hiking wooded trails, moving through the wilderness each day to get to a new campsite. There will also be plenty of time for making new friends, swimming, looking for animals, laughing, exploring, singing and bonding with fellow campers!
We are so pleased to be working once again with a camp called Wilderness Canoe Base. This will be our 19th summer partnering with Wilderness Canoe Base as our outfitter and wilderness guide. In the past, their generous “camperships” have allowed Project Success to introduce many more students to the Boundary Waters Wilderness than we ever thought possible! Their guides are well trained, experienced and, above all, they are committed to safety.
