I love Lithuania
I love my Homeland. It is good for me to live in Lithuania, I like the Lithuanian
language and even the capricious climate is lovely to me, although I have not understood for
a long time when winter or summer start and when they are over. Maybe it's the simplest
affection? I just got used to it for 40 years, and besides, I rarely visited outside my
Homeland’s borders. All I know is that if I could choose again, I would choose Lithuania
again.
For me, the Homeland is a home to which I would always like to return from all over
the world if I had to leave it. The Homeland should be important to everyone, because he or
she grew up here, started talking and walking, going to school, making first friends.
Lithuania is not a very well-known country in the world, many people think that it is small,
poor, but only those who have not visited it think so. For those who came to Lithuania for
the first time, I would suggest to visit Vilnius, to climb Gediminas Castle, to explore Vilnius
Cathedral with mysterious dungeons and Trakai Castle, which is located on the island of
Lake Galvė. I would definitely advise them going to our amber seaside: visiting Palanga,
Klaipeda and the most beautiful pearl of our seaside - Nida. I have always remembered the
golden dunes of Nida and very beautiful views of nature.

Aš myliu Lietuvą
Aš myliu savo Tėvynę. Man gera gyventi Lietuvoje, man patinka lietuvių kalba ir net
kaprizingas klimatas man mielas, nors jau seniai nebesuprantu, kada prasideda žiema ar
vasara ir kada jos baigiasi. Gal tai paprasčiausias prisirišimas? Tiesiog pripratau per 40 metų,
be to, ir už gimtinės sienų nedažnai svečiavausi.
Man Tėvynė – namai, į kuriuos visada norėčiau grįžti iš įvairiausių pasaulio kraštų,
jeigu tektų iš jos išvažiuoti. Kiekvienam žmogui turėtų būti svarbi Tėvynė, nes jis čia
užaugo, pradėjo kalbėti ir vaikščioti, lankyti mokyklą, susirado pirmųjų draugų. Lietuva
Aplankyti
Palangą, Klaipėdą ir gražiausią pajūrio perlą – Nidą. Man visiems laikams atminty liko
auksinės Nidos kopos ir labai gražūs gamtos vaizdai.

I love Lithuania
Lithuania is my homeland. I was born and grew up in this land. Lithuania is an
important state for me, because there I learned to speak, to write and to read Lithuanian. Its
history is honorable. It is a country where brave heroes fought for freedom.
Every Lithuanian should love, cherish and be proud of his homeland. I love
Lithuania because it is an extremely beautiful country with a lot of beautiful festivals and
traditions. Lithuania is a very beautiful land. Forests cover almost a third of the total area of
the country. The Lithuanian landscape is valued not only by Lithuanians, but by foreign
tourists too. I am proud that my homeland is Lithuania.
Love for your homeland is very important. We must preserve the traditions and
the language of our country. Only in this way will we develop love for Lithuania for future
generations.
Aš myliu Lietuvą
Lietuva – tai mano gimtinė. Šioje žemėje aš gimiau ir užaugau. Lietuva man
svarbi valstybė, nes tenai aš išmokau kalbėti, rašyti ir skaityti lietuviškai. Jos istorija yra
garbinga. Tai šalis, kurioje narsūs didvyriai kovojo už laisvę.
Kiekvienas lietuvis turėtų mylėti, branginti ir didžiuotis savo tėvyne. Aš myliu
Lietuvą, nes ji yra be galo gražus kraštas, turintis daugybę gražių švenčių, tradicijų. Lietuva
yra labai gražus kraštas. Beveik trečdalį viso šalies ploto užima miškai. Lietuvos

I love Lithuania
I love Lithuania, first of all, because I was born and raised here. Our language is
one of the oldest in the world, so we must respect and be proud of it. People who love me
live in Lithuania. The capital Vilnius is a wonderful city, it is praised by tourists as a very
cozy town. I live in Molėtai. Molėtai is spectacular, because it is my hometown and it is the
real kingdom of nature! Molėtai is the land of lakes. Lithuania is the country that adores
basketball. Lithuanian people just unite when they are „ sick “for their team in the European
Championship, this is like proof that Lithuanians are united. We are a small country, but our
achievements are very big! I love Lithuania and enjoy living in it!
Aš myliu Lietuvą
Aš myliu Lietuvą pirmiausia todėl, kad aš čia gimiau, augau. Mūsų kalba – viena
seniausių pasaulyje, todėl turime ją gerbti ir ja didžiuotis. Lietuvoje gyvena mane mylintys
dideli! Aš myliu Lietuvą ir džiaugiuosi joje gyvendama!

I love Lithuania
I love my country because I grew up in Lithuania, this is my homeland. The most
beautiful thing in my homeland is nature. Lithuanian forests are good for picking mushrooms
and berries. Wild strawberries, bilberries and cranberries all smell like a forest and the taste
is fantastic! Fishing in the river or the lake is a great entertainment and a valuable catch!
One of the most amazing things of Lithuania is the fabulous castle surrounded by
lakes. It is situated in Trakai. In the castle there is a museum, full of “track back” to the
glorious times in Lithuanian history. Another great event is the air balloon flight above
Vilnius. You can explore the city from the height and take a picture of the admirable view.
Lithuanians are very proud of their basketball players. Basketball is like the
second (if not the first) religion in Lithuania, and is much more than just a game to the
nation. The most interesting and one of the most difficult is the Lithuanian language. Some
of the best things in Lithuania are: the smell of pine trees in parks and forests in the summer,
the Carnivals with pancakes, the spas of Birštonas and Druskininkai and many other things.
In my opinion, Lithuania is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I love Lithuania
My favorite place in Lithuania is the Old Town of Vilnius. Old Town amazes me
every time when I walk through narrow streets, but it becomes spectacular at night. I like not
only the view this place has to offer, but also an amazing history that lies underneath it.
Everywhere were you look there is so much beauty, pain and ambition. In 1994 the Vilnius
Old Town was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in recognition of its universal
value and originality. It is a place where some of European greatest architectural styles
(Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassicism) stand side by side and complement each
other.
Aš myliu Lietuvą
Mano mėgstamiausia vieta Lietuvoje yra Vilniaus senamiestis. Senamiestis mane

I love Lithuania
Lithuania is a very beautiful and picturesque country whit rich history and unique
traditions and I love my country very much. The history of Lithuania’s fight for its freedom
and independence gives me the understanding how great Lithuania is. The Lithuanian
language is one of the oldest in the world. Therefore, we all must respect and to be proud of
our country.
Lithuanian nature is very amazing and we have four seasons in a year, our
climate is very specific on the one hand but on the other hand it is very unique and peculiar.
The name of the country is connected with the weather. Lithuania is famous for its
landscapes, lakes, forests, rivers. Whenever you go you can see a unique corner of the nature.
I love Lithuania and enjoy living here.
suteikia man supratimą, kokia didi Lietuva.

In Litauen gibt es viele schöne Landschaften. In Vilnius fließt schöner Fluss
doch keine richtige Berge in Litauen.
In Trakai steht
daug gamtos. Vilniuje, Lietuvos sostinėje stovi senovinė XIII a. Gedimino pilis ant
Trakuose stovi garsioji
Trakų pilis, kuri pastatyta ežero viduryje.
Man labai patinka lietuviška virtuvė, su apetitu valgau cepelinus, šiuos bulvių
kukulius su mėsa mėgsta visi lietuviai. Aš gerai jaučiuosi būdama Lietuvoje ir kartais
didžiuodamasi sakau, kad aš myliu Lietuvą.

I love Lithuania
Love – sensation, that could make genius a fool, give a hope for a soul in despair,
cure a curse, or enhance it. Love can play tricky games with wonderful minds of people and
take many unthinkable shapes and forms. Everyone who gets to play a game of life always
will reside in a place that he calls home, his country. Why would someone develop that
tingly sensation for the soil his feet are standing on? For one it could be possibilities, his
country provides, for another it might appear that he does not even care about his homeland.
In my case, someone who has traveled a tiny bit, it is nature and people. I love Lithuania,
how could you just not? When from the very beginning of your journey, you are told about
all the struggles people went through to make Lithuania as it is now. When you are
surrounded by the beautiful nature and architectural wonders, that are coexisting in harmony.
That is right, I love Lithuania.

In
Man patinka Lietuva, nes čia aš gimiau ir ilgą laiką gyvenau. Dabar man taip pat
patinka čia atvažiuoti. Kai man pavyksta bandau aplankyti ir Vilnių. Man patinka šis miestas
dėl architektūros ir miesto įžymybių. Mėgstu prasieiti senamiesčiu ir stebėti aplinkines
vietoves. Čia daug jaunų žmonių kurie atvažiuoja kaip turistai. Daug žmonių sėdi gatvių
kavinėse ir restoranuose. Man patinka jūrinis oras ir klimatas. Mėgstu be atvangos stebėti
gražiąsias pilis, ežerus. Kiekvieną noriu paskatinti nors kartą gyvenime aplankyti šį miestą.
Lietuvoje yra ir geografinis Europos centras. Ši vieta labai gražiai atrodo, čia stovi didelis
paminklas ir yra graži gamta.

I love Lithuania
I love Lithuania. It became clear to me after 4 years of living in London.
Without hesitation, I packed my bags and moved back to my home country. I remember,
clear as day, the way I felt coming back here. It was as if nothing had changed. My friends
are still all here, so is my family. We are able to spend time together in our usual spots,
celebrate holidays and birthdays. We are able to travel around our homeland, visit its
beautiful forests, villages, and glorious beaches. It is an invaluable privilege, which I
wouldn’t change again for anything.
Aš myliu Lietuvą
Aš myliu Lietuvą. Tai man paaiškėjo po 4 metų, pragyventų Londone. Ilgai

Lietuva stovi ant tvirto pagrindo. Lietuvos medžių lapai rudenį man primena lietuviškos

I love Lithuania /
(Most of all in Lithuania I like the city of Vilnius)
(There are many different beautiful places in Vilnius, for example, the
Gediminas Tower, a monument of the history and culture of Vilnius).
(And there is also a Cathedral square-one of the main squares in the city. It is located in the
Old Town near the Cathedral of St. Stanislaus.)
(And there is one more thing I like about Vilnius, it is the
Three Crosses-one of the sights of Vilnius, a monument in the form of three white concrete
crosses. It is located on the Three-Cross Mountain on the right bank of the Vilnelė river.)

I love Lithuania
There are a lot of different countries in this world. All of them are unique,
different and interesting. Mine is Lithuania. There are many things about my country, which
make me feel like at the home and love this country from all my heart. First, I love people.
They are nice, friendly and treat each other well. Sometimes they are “cold”, but I think it is
a good thing. I love Lithuania, because of our nature. We have long rivers, dark forests,
many colorful flowers and we can spend peaceful time alone in the forest, because we do not
have a lot of people in our country.
dalykas. Aš myliu Lietuvą, dėl mūsų gamtos. Mes turime ilgas upes, tamsius miškus, ir daug
spalvotų gėlių ir galime ramiai laiką leisti vieni miške, nes neturime daug žmonių savo
šalyje.

I love Lithuania
I love Lithuania so much with lots of greenery, forests, rivers, streams and the
shining Baltic Sea. The beauty of Lithuanian nature attracts people from all over the world. It
is a wonderful country of towns and villages with preserved culture, buildings, full of
historical memories. There are many resort towns where you can get the right rest, leisure
and health recovery. The fabulous Neringa with its dunes, forest tracks and views leaves no
one indifferent, even if you have seen everything. I love this amazing little corner of the
world with all the people and values we have here.

I love Lithuania
I love Lithuania. Life in Lithuania is good! I love Lithuania and enjoy living
here. Unity. Lithuania is a country that adores basketball. Food. Lithuanian food is amazing.
The capital city of Vilnius is a wonderful city to live. It is praised by tourists as very cozy.
Language. We speak one of the oldest and one of the least changed languages in the world.
Unseen Lithuania is something to be proud of! Lithuania! We must each cherish and love our
homeland.
I love Lithuania and I enjoy living in it! I would not change my homeland to
anything, I have many wonderful friends, great teachers. The beauty of nature in Lithuania is
wonderful, and the change of seasons is one of the most valuable things for Lithuania, we
must be glad that there are no earthquakes, floods or volcanic eruptions!
Lithuania is a country that adores basketball, Lithuanian people just unite when
they are "sick" for their team in the European Championship, it's like the proof that
Lithuanians are united! We are a small country, but our achievements are very big!
Aš myliu Lietuvą
Aš myliu Lietuvą. Lietuvoje gyventi gera! Aš myliu Lietuvą ir džiaugiuosi joje
gyvendama. Sostinė Vilnius yra puikus miestas gyventi. Jį giria turistai, kaip labai jaukų.
Kalba. Mes kalbame viena seniausių ir viena mažiausiai pakitusių pasaulio kalbų. Neregėta
Lietuva, dėl ko verta didžiuotis! Lietuvi! Kiekvienas turime branginti ir mylėti savo tėvynę.
Aš myliu Lietuvą ir džiaugiuosi joje gyvendama! Nekeisčiau savo gimtinės į
nieką, turiu daug nuostabių draugų, puikių mokytojų. Lietuvoje gamtos grožis nuostabus, o
metų laikų kaita yra vienas iš vertingiausių dalykų Lietuvai, turime džiaugtis, jog čia nėra
žemės drebėjimų, potvynių ar ugnikalnių išsiveržimų!

I love Lithuania
I love Lithuania because our country has many beautiful places and lots of
nature. I love nature very much, because when I am in nature, I find peace, and the peace of
mind is very important to us at the moment and thoughts in nature are quite different. Most
of all I like our city Palanga, because there is a sea and forests. At that time you forget about
everything and just enjoy nature. Our positive emotions determine a lot in life itself, and in
Lithuania they can be experienced a lot, because all cities are different and that is what I
really like. There is always some movement in our Lithuanian capital Vilnius, and I would
also miss it if there was only nature everywhere. That is the thing I like most in Lithuania, so
wherever you are, everywhere you feel different and everywhere is good.
W stolicy
Litwy - Wilnie, zawsze coś się dzieje, czego mi by brakowało, gdyby w naszym państwie
była tylko przyroda. A więc, najbardziej kocham Litwę za to, iż gdzie by nie byłeś,
odczuwasz nowym spektrum emocji i wszędzie jest dobrze.

There is no place like Home (English proverb)/
Visur gerai, bet namuose geriausia (anglų patarlė)

Koks gražus mažytis mūsų kraštas!
Kaip lašelis tyro gintaro.
Myliu jį seniai audimų raštuos
Ir dainose kaimo gimtojo.
Gintarėlį tau nešu ant delno,
Baltijos lašelį tą nublankusį —
Lietuvos aš vardą švelnų
Tau nešu kaip saulę rankose.

Small but lovely is my native country,
Like a bead of amber glowing bright.
Her old melodies arouse my wonder
And her patterned weave is my delight.
For a keepsake take this bead of amber
