Formerly Fone: I am a thirty something year old genderfucker of Color from Brooklyn. I've been writing poetry since the mid 1990s. Four years ago I created a facebook page with the sole intent to network and connect with REAL minds. I found them both online and at open
mics. Sometimes the people I met at open mics were people I had already connected with online. I feel very happy and blessed to have the opportunity to share my poetry and artistic expression with all of you.I hope that my art speaks for itself. If you have any questions, feel free to
ask!

Traveling internationally with her talents Troi Lauren, 2013 US cultural ambassador, says that "action without purpose and heart is to act in naught." She applies
this to her music by writing songs from personal experience and with the message of self-‐love, social conciousness and civic engagement.
