New Sats tests will be introduced in 2016 in English and Maths.English will comprise of a four tests - Grammar & Punctuation, Spelling and two Reading papers.Maths will comprise of an arithmetic and reasoning paper.

Year 1 Phonics Screening

Week Commencing 13th June 2016The phonics screening check is a short and simple assessment of phonic decoding. It consists of a list of 40 words, half real words and half non-words, which Year 1 children read to a teacher.http://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/PicnicOnPluto.html
