With  same  parDcle  mass  you  may  get  very  different  number  and  surface  area  of  parDcles  into  your  lungs  即使吸入肺部的颗粒物的质量一样,但是颗粒物的数量及表面积可能完全不一样  

Different  size  parDcle  affect  your  lungs  differently  不用大小的颗粒物对肺部有不同的影响  

OpDcal  sensors  do  not  measure  <300  nm  parDcles  –  and  β-­‐sensors  are  insensiDve  to  small  parDcles  传统光学传感器监测不到小于300纳米的颗粒物  β- 射线法传感器对细微颗粒反应不灵敏

Conclusions  总结  •  PM2.5  is  a  good  indica/on  of  pollu/on  but  it  underes/mates  the  health  effect

物对人体健康的影响  •  Par/cle  number  (PN)  and  par/cle  surface  area  (PA)  concentra/ons  are  

important  for  beAer  understanding  of  pollu/on  vs  health  effect            颗粒物数量浓度(PN)及颗粒物表面积浓度(PA)可以更好的理解污染及健

康影响  •  Measuring  PN/PA1  (and  especially  PN/PA0.1)  requires  new  measurement  

technology  based  on  electrical  charging  of  par/cles            测量PN/PA1  (尤其是PN/PA0.1)需要基于对颗粒物充电的电子技术  •  It  may  be  possible  to  develop  measurement  equipment  which  can  indicate
