What is the WrAP test?It stands for “Writing Assessment Program”

What are the five levels and types of writing?

• Elementary (grades 3-4) – Narrative Writing

• Intermediate (grades 5-6) – Informational Writing

• Middle (grades 7-8) – Expository Writing

• Secondary (Grades 9-10) – Persuasive Writing

• College Preparatory (grades 11-12) – Critical Thinking

How is it administered?

• Day 1 (50 minutes max.) Pre-writing, brainstorming, outlining, and drafting

•Day 2 (50 minutes max.) Revise the draft and create a final essay.
