How to stop auto update of Android Apps

This presentation will show you how to stop auto update of your android app. By default your apps are updated automatically and consume few MB from your data plan which you may not want. So follow the steps to save few extra MB.

At first open the “Play Store”

First go to menu section top of Android screen and locate the 3 dot. Tap there and menu will open. Select “Settings” from there.

Now look for the auto update apps option which will be found under General section of Settings screen.

Now top on the auto update apps option and you will see 3 options under it.

1) Do not auto update

2) Auto update apps at any time.

3) Data charges may apply Auto update apps over Wi-Fi only

Choose any one of them according to your need. 1st option will never auto update you apps even if you are in a free data usage area. You

could choose 3rd option if you have access to a Wi-FI that is in

unlimited data plan.
