Student Council will be taking orders for flower deliveries for your friends and loved ones on Valentines’ Day. Orders will be taken at lunch in the lobby, starting today.
All musicians who are interested in being part of an
ensemble, please see Mrs. Charlebois in room 134 ( the
Music Room) to sign up- come before or after school or at
lunch time!
All “Mathies” out there in grades 9-11 are welcome to enter the University of Waterloo’s annual math contest taking place on Tuesday February 28th. If you are interested, please sign up on the form outside of room 224 or speak to Ms. Polasek in person. There is no cost for you so be brave and challenge yourself!
Our Spartans earned second place in the Elmvale Eagles 6 Team Tournament held yesterday in Elmvale. Our runner-up showing was well-earned and well-deserved. Even better, we beat Georgian Bay Secondary School to remain undefeated in League play. This guarantees us First Place heading into the playoffs. Great Spartan grit and class all day. Let’s get ready for playoffs!
There is a meeting for all students interested in playing Badminton in the Tech Room at the beginning of lunch today. Find Mr. Wheatcroft.

The SCI Alpine Ski Team had a great day at the Osler Bluff Ski club yesterday. The conditions were difficult buy many of the members had good runs in their categories. Great day everyone!
There is a Sr. Girls Volleyball practice after school today with Ms. Polasek. All Jr. Girls volleyball players are welcome to come and practice before your game on Friday.
Sub Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you pre-order before 9:30am you will get a FREE COOKIE with your sub.
Volunteers Needed A variety of shifts are available the weekend of February 17th to 20th.Jobs include supervising bouncy castles and children’s games, cooking hamburgers and hotdogs, making concession foods like cotton candy and popcorn, and more.
For every hour that you volunteer with the Youth Centre you will receive $5 off of one of the Youth Centre’s out trips.
