sunnier. YCLC is busy planning term 4, let us know if there is something you want

to do and we’ll see if we can help. Our AGM is coming up on Friday 20th October, we’d love

to see you there. Next term we have a photography class and some craft days coming up.

YCLC Yarram Mens Shed received a Grant from the

Wellington Shire for a new Drum Sander. The Sander

has been installed in the Shed and has been a valua-

ble addition to our equipment.

This machine has made things much easier for the

participants of the Mens Shed Program and give a

much better quality to the finsh of the products the

men are creating.

“It’s a great machine, and an asset to the Workshop’

said Allen, one of the Mens Shed Supervisors.

The Shed is producing many items for the community

and it’s great to be able to offer a product to such a

high standard.

Craft Alive! Learning

Tour

18 ladies from YCLC enjoyed a fabulous

day out at Craft Alive on Friday 11th

August.

We had a great trip over in the

Minibuses, thanks to the Wellington

Shire for the Grant to take us over to

Craft Alive and learn some new ideas to

bring back and share.

We saw some new craft activities and

techniques, the first of which we are

going to try out next month—fabric and

paper dying—with Shaving cream!

What could possibly go wrong?
