IN CASE OF CHARITABLE OR RELEGIOUS INSTITUTION

We have examined the balance sheet of Bengal Association, Banga Sanskriti Bhavan, Golemarket, New Delhi as at 31 March, 2020 and Income &

expenditure Accounts for the same period ended on that date, which are in

agreement with the Books of Account maintained by the Association.

We have obtained all the information & explanations which to the best of our

knowledge and belief were necessary for the purpose of Audit. In our opinion

proper Books of Accounts have been kept by the said Association.

In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to the

explanations, give a true and fair view of the affairs of the said Association:

(a) In the case of the Balance Sheet of the state of affairs of the mentioned Association as on 31.03.2020.

(b) In the case of income & expenditure Account, of the surplus for the

accounting period ending on that date.

Accounting Policies & Notes on Accounts

General: Accounting poliCies notes specifically referred to otherwise are consistent ana

in consonance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Revenue Recognition:-

The AssoCiation has followed the mercantile system of accounting; as sucn

the provision for expenses payable and the amount receivable has been made

in the Books of Accounts.

3. Fixed Assets:-

Pixed Assets are stated at their written down value.

Depreciation: Depreciation has been provided as per the rates prescribed under income tax

rules 1962 except non-charging of additional depreciation on new plant &

machinery purchase, if any during the year.

The association has expended a sum of Rs. 325510/- towards educational

activity during the year under review, as per the objects clause of the

association.

6 Schedule 1 to 12 forms an integral part of the accounts, which have been

authenticated.
