The flowers have been so beautiful on the altar the last few weeks. It would be nice if we could have people purchase flowers in honor of or in memory of for only $100.00 total each week.

Prayer Box: There is a box in the back of the church where you can place personal prayer intentions which will be prayed for on Wednesday mornings. Your petitions will be included in an intentional Rosary seeking our Blessed Mother’s intercession on behalf of our parish and against societal ills and influences. We pray also to free cap-tive hearts (addictions, woundedness,

bound by sin or unbelief, etc.) keeping individuals from living a full life in Christ and freedom from the scourges now covering the world (abortion, modern-day slavery, pornography, relativism, etc.).

May 14 (week 8) Baby Thomas begins to move. At eight weeks his arms are bending and flexing. Fingers are developing and Thomas is now swimming. He may be practicing for the 2032 Olympics. Happy Mother’s Day! “How sweet to my tongue is your promise, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103)

A compassionate ear and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality are the main requirements. Bilingual skills are helpful but not necessary. THE LAZARUS MINSTRY NEEDS HELP!! Funeral Reception TO: • Set-up tables • Sometimes prepare foods • Placing table linens • Preparing Coffee • Picking up food if requested • Serving the food • Cleaning up after the reception As a rule volunteers would be notified one day prior to the event for assistance. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ~ Catholic men & women sixteen years or older and are in good standing, which means they have received the Sac-raments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucha-rist) and if Married have been Married in the Catholic Church, are eligible for this ministry. They are to live the Gospel message in accordance with the teachings of the Church and to participate regularly in the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist and practice their Catholic Faith. They are to be registered members of the parish in which they are commissioned.
