There were five experimental groups, including normal control (vehicle, n=6), APAP as a hepatotoxic control (APAP 800 B.w. I.P., n=6), NS I (APAP+NS 100 mg/kg b.w. P.O., n=6), NS II (APAP+NS 300 mg/kg b.w. P.O., n=6) and NS III (APAP+NS 900 mg/kg B.w. P.O., n=6). After 24 hours, enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathion (GSH) were significantly increased, whereas malondialdehyde (MDA) was significantly decreased (P
